we are all getting doped and my freind who was drunk already now has the swirls. Is there anything i can give him to calm him down and help him out of it? please help, i know what he's feeling right now really sucks

I used water to come down from being drunk, although I don't drink anymore.

As far as weed, I don't understand why you'd want to kill that buzz, but my friends say eating and showering brings them down...those stinky bastards.

first off your friend shouldn't be drinking while high (or be drunk when getting high) alchohol doesn't play well with marijuana.

as far as coming down faster i think i may be a little late to help you now, i find that keeping my eyes open, and either sitting or laying down helps alot. if you've ever noticed when you close your eyes while high (on many things, particuarly with Salvia divornum) you get what people call "eye candy." If you're too fucked up this can be too intense and make you feel sick and stuff. One thing I've found is that if i close my eyes i feel like i'm contiually falilng. This has something to do with your eyes trying to roll back as if you're going to sleep or something, i'm not really sure)

anyway recap:
on top of what else has been said.
1. plenty of water
2. comfort. laying/sitting. appropriate temperature, comfortable clothing if possible. if you can, take of his shoes.
3. companionship. have at least one person sit or just be in the room if he needs anything. also to help keep him in touch with reality if he starts to panic or something.
4. i like a cool wet towel, not too cold, but cool and wet on my forehead.

don't take any medications if you can possibly avoid it (obviously take things that are necessary to life, HIV medication for example) but no tylenol, advil, nothing. alcohol tends to mix badly with many things and you don't wanna run a risk.

The cold shower is fine, Buzz, but mixing Dramamine with alcohol is not a smart idea. Dramamine contains the same active ingredient as OTC sleeping pills, like Unisom. Combining it with alcohol will cause sleep at best, death from respiratory failure at worst. You're a trusted voice here; you should know better.

I still am uptight about it ..and cringe when I see what is happening over at the 420Lounge discussions at times. Reminds me of Yahooka with some of the advice given there.

Buzzby's advice would have been correct in many instances, and his error was not made with malicious intent.
