so yesterday afternoon was my first real time smoking weed. i took wayy too many hits and i dont know what to do. i thought it would feel good to smoke, but im one of those who has panics.. anyway, i started freaking out not knowing what to do and while walking back, couldnt feel anything it was extremely scary. i kept drinking and drinking sooo much water and threw up twice. my heart was beating so fast i thought i was going to die. (and after 18 hours still is) im scared im going to stay like this for days

& i know people come on here all the time and say shit like this and stuff and i read the panic and axiety page but what should i do, just wait it out?

For now I would simply wait it out in a quiet relaxing atmosphere with a friend or two for support if possible. I'm glad you read some info on panic attacks here. It will pass. Be more gentle next time since you're a beginner.

1) The high takes your mental state and carries it further than if you were sober. If you're scared or nervous the result can be overwhelming. Smoke with close, trusted friends in a safe place. Vehicles, moving or stationery, are not a good idea.

2) Start slowly. The high takes 10-15 minutes to fully develop. With some high-potency weed one toke might be enough and two too much. Take one, wait 10 minutes, and decide if you want another. Getting too high when you're not familiar with the feeling can be very uncomfortable. Don't let your friends give you a hard time about being a newbie.

3) Smoking marijuana is not a competitive sport. Different people can react very differently to the same amount of weed. People who smoke a lot develop a tolerance and aren't affected as strongly as "virgins". Don't try to keep up with the old hands. Ignore peer pressure. Do what's right for you.

4) Have fun! Marijuana enhances your enjoyment of all your senses. You will see, smell, hear, touch, and taste things in ways you never imagined before. New ways of looking at things and peculiar thoughts will cruise through your mind. If things get weird, just remind yourself that it's an effect of the pot and that in an hour or two everything will be back to normal.

also last night i only had a tiny bit of alcohol &cigarette and i was al;ready fucked up.. because of the fact that im still on some of what i smoked 2 days ago...could that be right???

That's not a fact. Marijuana metabolizes fairly quickly in the human body. After a few hours, all that are left are marijuana's non-psychoactive metabolites. The effects that you're experiencing are most likely purely psychosomatic (in your head). Your smoking experience might have brought an underlying anxiety disorder to the surface.

I remember when I first started smoking though, I had an afterglow that lasted three days after my first time getting high all weekend.
