never toked up before, but i plan to tommorow for the first time.. just a quick question.. i already know that under the influence of marijuana, you're still able to control the way you act and shit, however, i was just curious: is this the same the first time you get high? i know it might differ in people, but is it typical for first-time users? just wondering because i plan to smoke up with a buddy at lunch and hit class right after.. got my visine & axe, just wondering if there's anything else that a teacher might notice (behavioral) that might be outta my control.

honestly you'll hardly feel it your first time. you should smoke a couple times. your 2nd or 3rd time you'll just be ripped out of your mind.

i've heard that the only reason people don't really get high their first time is because they don't know how to inhale propery.. apparently anyone can get high their first time if they know how to inhale. i know how to inhale, as i used to smoke cigarettes, but i quit about a month ago. i know you're supposed to deeply inhale slowly, right down into your lungs, hold it for a few seconds, then exhale. got it down pat already, however, your post didn't answer my actual question.

Many people who know how to properly inhale don't get high at first. I agree that if you're doing it wrong you'll never get high, but this isn't the case for most people. It's strictly an unusual yet clearly documented physiological phenomenon, which may very likely prove itself again in your 19 year old (per your profile) body.

That being said, assuming you DO get high, I personally think it's a terrible idea to experiment with marijuana for the first time right before you go into a classroom. As you have no experience knowing what marijuana will do to you or how you will act or behave or be able to stay in control of your speech/demeanor/body language, you are simply asking for trouble. And also, you will very likely be quickly identified by your "teacher" in the vein of..."Hmmm, what's wrong with this picture." That is, you will stand out like a sore thumb, trust me.

Why not just wait until Friday night?

I agree with Nerphroll on waiting until Friday night. My first time (long time ago) I was with 3 or 4 friends and had to have them take me home. I was so paranoid when I got home, I went to bed and couldn't wait for the high to go away.
