Hey people!

Sorry, I didn't know where to post this up so I just picked the one that sounded similiar to what i'm about to ask.

I've been a pothead for like 6 months now and althought i havn't notice any effects, i'm worried about my health. I scanned through the site and i'm sure there are answers to my questions, but i'm the type that likes answers directly...so I'll know for sure.

I want to know what weed can do to me in the long-run if anything.

I want to know how I can tell if the weed is 'laced' or not.

I want to know the difference between 'cess' and 'hydro' 'cause i still can't tell the difference (besides form physical difference).

Please try to your best of knowledge to answer these questions. Thanks

I'm not so sure about long run, but the way to tell if your dealer is doing anything funny like lacing the weed or selling oregano is if when you are walking towards or away from him you always hear him laugh.

I'm not sure what 'cess' is, but Hydro is weed grown in a setup where the plants roots are in water, and it is airated, given nutrients, a proper pH balance it kept, etc etc. As for long-term, I can't say. I've been smoking hardcore for about the same as you...and i've gotten kinda ****ed up, mostly being a lack of motivation.

I can speak about long term effects as far as herb use is concerned.Almost thirty years,and I'm still waiting for anything to happen!Hope I don't grow boobs! Thats the one that scared me the worst.

Hydro means it was grown hydorponically. People seem to think that all good weed is hydro. This is not true. There is dank grown in soil and dank grown hydroponically. It just seems to me that if you grow hydro it is good, but this does not make it better than something grown in soil. Good weed is good weed. Its stupid to go around calling everything that is dank hydro when its not.

Laced weed will probably smell like some chemical. Other than that, there really isn't a difference, and that depends on what it was laced with.

Long term effects. Hmmmmm, I haven't really herd of any. Your lungs won't be as good as if you never smoked, but thats about it.

We have a lot of younger tokers on these boards and there is one thing that all of them have that I have to say you appear to lack. Strength of Character.

You are worried, but instead of looking for the answers, which you admit you know are available, you practically whine that you expect to be spoon-fed, so you will "know for sure."

You are unable to rely on your own intuition, your own skills to read, comprehend and make a choice about what you are doing to your body.

What can pot do to You in the long run? You personally, possibly ruin your life.

How can You tell if the weed is 'laced' or not? If you don't smoke it then you don't have to worry. And you sound way too immature to smoking anything.

Difference between 'cess' and 'hydro' ? Cess is short for "could have been grown in a cess pit" Hydro you have the answer to.

Believe me when I tell you I tried my very best to answer your questions in a manner I thought responsive to your demands.

To Answer your questions

1. Laced marijuana is rare, so rare that I have never encoutered it, aside from a guy who did it to his own bag and showed me. If you buy from a creditable dealer or grow your own you never have to worry about this.

2. Aside for some lung damage there are few if any long term effects of smoking pot.

3. Hydro? Cess? The latter has been answered and the former, well that is a term I have never heard of.

I don't see anything wrong with trying to get quicker answers than spending hours on the computer searching around - I sure can find better ways to spend my time.

This site is supposed to be for helping people, not shaming them. You're a moderator for god sakes! On a marijuana discussion group! Jeez he's concerned about his health what's wrong with that. You say he may ruin his life, what are you talking about? Are you ruining yours?

I am wondering about your placement here as moderator of the Health discussion when you try to humiliate the person asking a perfectly fine health question.

Yea, really, I've been here for a while, and ive seen you get snooty on more than one occasion. What kind of forums would these be when all questions have been asked? Nothing new would happen, because the response would be "This topic exists elsewhere, thread closed"

You all (for being laid back pot smokers) should chill out, and moderate. Not be our "mamas". Remove objectionable/obscene material, and thats it.

Having the title of moderator does not require me to censor my own opinions.

I too have more important things then to do this punks work for him.

You will of course notice he has not been back to this thread, nor particpated in any other coversations.

You may state he is a lurker, I would disagree again. A lurker would already have had the answer to that information without demanding it.

Also so you know, Moderators are not compensated for there work on these threads. We are not your servants.

I have a great deal of respect for the younger members of this forum. They are an astute, well educated, and considerate group. I have nothing but the highest respect for them.

I do not have respect from some child who refuses to take the personal responsibility for his actions. In this case smoking pot. I wonder how seriously he will take the license to drive a motor vehicle when he is of age?
