I've heard from a friend that when you'r going to smoke Marijuana for the first time in you'r life you can become braindead, and that scared the living sh*t out of me.

Can you really become braindead the first time you try marijuana?

First of all why havnt you ever heard that in health class or some shit if it were true i swear to you itd be on anti smoking billboards and shit...dude use common sense.

This is why the world needs to stop this REEFER MADNESS AND RUMORS and lies about marijuana. I cant beleive someone would be gulible and foolish AND BELIEVING to think that the first time you smoke weed, you can go braindead ( we can also thank the anti-pot commercial on tv for spreading lies and deceipt). I think this is the most foolish thing i have ever heard in my whole life. its like saying my friend told me that if you drink vicks 44 the first time u will trip and think your a cup of orange juice.


BEFORE YOU BELIEVE SOMETHING, MAKE THE EFFORT TO FIND OUT IF ITS TRUE.

i agree that that is complete bullshit but no need to attack him. he came here to find out if that was true or not. by seeking the informaton he seems to me to be open minded not braindead.

I think that is what Mannen was doing by posting the question. He/she was making an effort to find out.
So tell me, Fire_Scorpian, just how many times does it take. I think you probably know first hand.

They may not have taught that in his/her health class. I know that in my health class they didn't teach any positive effects of the use of any drugs. Maybe in his/her school they concentrated more on spelling, grammar and and the use of capital letters.
In fact, have you seen the anti-drug commercials on TV lately? I think what they are trying to say is, if you smoke pot, you are brain dead. Remember the commercial "This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs." Then they show the egg in the frying pan. This anti-drug commercial is saying you will fry your brain.
So to Mannen, the answer is NO. So maybe chronichippy can tell us how many times it takes, if Fire_Scorpian can't remember.

Ive heard about getting an alergic reaction to the drug and couse you'r high, you can't tell if you'r dying or just paraniod.....

Anyone knows some symptons about the alergic reaction and should I go check my self just to be sure??

im sorry to lash out Mennan. I didnt mean to attack you, Im just so frustrated from ludicrous rumors and lies floating around about cannabis. I have used cannabis for 5 years to help me cope with ADHD as it slows down my brain and helps me focus. Im so tired of seeing stupid adds on tv that spread this trash and lead moral people into believing that its bad for you. No one has ever died from smoking marijuana. you can smoke all you want (in excess) and all you will do is pass out. Try drinking alcohol all you want(like a 1/5 of 100 proof, or 200 proof everclear) , YOU WILL END UP IN THE HOSPITAL OR DEAD. marijuana is 1000000000000000000000000000000000 times safer than alcohol. yet alcohol is legal and promoted by the governement.
