Yes...but not everytime. Not so much scary as real. (now the, maybe, funny part) When I was a kid I found out that if I am too warm when I am sleeping, I would have real vivid dreams. Sometimes real scary. So now every once in a while I will get stoned and cover up with an extra blanket and let the show begin. It's cheaper than the movies and I usually play a lead role. It is kind of cool really and I enjoy it. PS I am not kidding, this is true. This is sort of what you experience.

| Last night I had a dream that I smoked a joint, and in the dream I got high. I woke up abruptly and my head was seriously fucked up. I was dizzy and my head was cloudy, it was really wierd, it did not feel much like being high at all. I stayed in bed and went back to sleep and woke up this morning and I feel fine. Maybe I was still dreaming when I woke up, but maybe not... |

| It's the opposite for me. I usually get vivid, intense dreams during periods of abstinence. When I start smoking again the weird dreams go away. I wonder why. |

| I smoke marijuana before going to bed because it suppresses REM (dream) sleep. I have a sleep disorder that causes me to get nothing but REM sleep. Without deep sleep I'm always extremely tired. Pot suppresses REM sleep enough that I can get a few hours of deep sleep every night.

| If you don't get deep sleep you are constantly exhausted. Take it from someone who knows. Quote:

I enjoy having no dreams, makes my sleep alot better, I dont get dreams until i've been straight for like 3 days... then I get minor as ones, and after like a week, my mind is going crazy with dreams. edit; although i don't remember the last time I went without bud for 7 days.

| If you can't recall you're dreams you might think about adding a few grams of lecithin to your daily diet. I eat 9.6 grams per day and have lost that 'burnt out' feeling, and my highs are like the 'old days' back in the 70's. The drawback is now I wonder about just how boring a person I am. My 'wild dream' last night was that I went into my back yard and found that deer had eaten all but 3 of my ferns... |
