| i've heard a lot of people say some utensils are worse than others and then heard people argue abut it. i've even herd one guy say vaporisers are really harsh. lets get this straight and correct. in a list from worst to best whats the order? i think it would be blunt, joint, pipe, bong, vaporizer, food so tell me what is in fact the harshest and the best utensil's to use? |

| There is no simple answer to your question. Each person will have their own preferences, and each piece will be unique. Try them all out to see for yourself. |

| majinvegeta I say everything in moderation. You will find the one that you like best only after you've tried them all. What you judge to be "harmful" depends on your point of view and what you're willing to accept. I have my own reasons for preferring vaporizing over smoking, but there's no real science to say that one is more or less harmful than the other. What do you mean by harmful?

| I don't get the above comment. Most people don't use filters on their joints, and the type of "filter" that IS used on joints most commonly (the rolled up strip of paper used to keep weed out of your mouth) doesn't actually filtr anything harmful out whatsoever. Vaporizers are most commonly considered the healthiest, along with eating, as there are no carcinogens or tar released by burning with these methods. there have been studies stating that joints are actually the healthiest way of smoking, but many people disagree, saying that equivalent amounts out of a bong give them much more bang for the buck, so to speak. |

| health-wise probably ingesting cannabis is the best way to go. I personally love vaporizers and bongs. as far as smoking methods go (including vapes) in order of "healthiest" to "least healthy" 1. vaporizer- nothing but hot air and cannaboids. you have to be careful though. it's really easy to exceed vaporizing and actually burn the bud which makes for a very harsh (it's way hotter than normally smoking) and it's smoke.. but if you're careful vape is the best on the lungs 2.bong this one is a little tricky and depending on how exactly you use it could probably change it's position on the list. along with cooling down the smoke it's also supposed to filter out some of the tar and CO2. but who knows? on the flipside you (potentially) hold the smoke for much longer which probably isn't so great for your lungs. but again very arguable. and i leave bongs at 2. 3. bubbler bongs are supposed to be better, but again not entirely clear. 4. pipe the only thing that leaves this above joints and blunts is the fact that you don't have the cig paper burnning also 5/6 these two are really pretty equal joint much harder to take huge drags, but then again you have to smoke more soo blunt same as joint with the exception that you can put out and relight a blunt so you won't necessarily feel the need to finish it in one sitting. 7. spliff worst possible kind. you've got papers weed tobacco all burning at the same time. granted smoking tobacco is pretty stupid all around (although i must admit it's fun to blow smoke rings) hope this helped. happy toking, |

I suppose it depends on what type of vaporizer you have, but with my vaporbrothers, I only burn if I have the heat turned all the way up and I take a long, slooowww pull. I've been using the vape for about 3-4 months now, and I think I've accidentally burned the load maybe on 3 hits, total.

I thought spliffs was the same as joints. There isn't any tobacco in spliffs unless you put it in there.

| It seems to be a European thing....I've never witnessed anyone from the US roll tobacco in their spliffs, but its a common practice across the water. |
