When I smoke up I find that I have a butterfly feeling in my stomach/chest. This feeling is proportional to the amount I smoke (the feeling gets worst if I smoke a lot). Also my heart pulse seems weaker and maybe even irregular (I can't tell if it's irregular or if I'm just messed up and think it's irregular... heh). I have read a little bit about how pot can change your blood pressure + heartrate and I was wondering if there is anything I can do or take to counteract it. I saw a couple other people post on this forum saying they have a similar experience when smoking... so I hope somebody can help me out here. Also, I'm not too out of shape. I play hockey and do other physical activities.

| The only thing I can offer you is to smoke less. Take more time between hits, give yourself time to see how high you really are. If this is a dose dependent effect, obviously don't overindulge. Otherwise I do not know what else can be done.

Yeah, I have slowed down a little bit. Still, the negative effect hits me even with just 1 toke (I don't smoke too much so 1 toke can get me high), but it's worst if i have more. Also the feeling seems to build up. Like if I smoke 1 day and then smoke again the next, it is worst the next day, and it keeps building unless I wait for a couple days in between smoking.

In one sense that sounds like it might actually be an allergy to marijuana. Such things do exist. Do a Search for marijuana allergy.

hmm, It doesnt seem that I have an allergy. Others that report having an allergy seem to have other symptoms. Does anybody know of anything to help control blood pressure in general? Any help is much appreciated.
