| Hello, I think it would help me and the situation that I'm in to do some meditation. I've been looking online, and it seems that there are many guides and books out there. However, I was wondering if any of you had some recommendations. I just need something to get my mind off things. I liked Buzzby's comment: 'it slows the monkey mind.' Also, what will I accomplish by meditating? I know you have to approach it with an open mind, and I can do that. My goal is to simply calm my mind down to the point where I don't have to think about all of my troubles 24/7. Lastly, any recommendations on natural, herbal medications would be greatly appreciated.
