Is it normal to twitch a lot while realy baked? It doesn't matter how I take it, I keep having uncontrollable spasms when i smoke pot; the more I smoke, the worse it gets. Even when I'm not stoned I'm tense and twitch a bit. [Off-Topic drug references deleted] (BuzzNote: As I pointed out the first time I deleted your off-topic drug references, it is against the Posting Guidelines of this site to discuss the use or effects of drugs other than marijuana. Why did you put them back? Consider this your last "friendly" warning...)

I accasionally twicth a bit. It seems to all be in the mind though. I wouldn't worry much, everybody reacts differently. The strain, for example, could be another factor.

| It is not normal to twitch a lot when you're baked. And yet you say you also twitch even when you're sober. If this continues I would see a neurologist. You don't have to reveal your marijuana habits, since you have the symptoms while sober too, so you don't have to be all paranoid that this is just from pot. You could have the beginnings of a movement disorder, such as Wilson's disease, Huntington;s disease, or others. See your doctor. And please, refrain from referencing other drugs like alcohol and ecstasy. The posting guidelines clearly state these drugs are off-topic. Thanks.

I have these, I think it's psychological, just like grinding your teeth etc. I also believe it's some sort of anxiety, your not relaxed, yet too baked to move, so you just get spasms. I remember the last months I smoked before my pause I was shaking incredibly, and if I wanted it to stop, I had to walk around for awhile, I was walking like those in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas after they inhale the devil ether. Heahea, I've been clean for almost a month now, no problem, some minor spasms in my legs from time to time, but when I notice I stop it... So I don't tink disease is something to worry about, then again, me no doctor =)

Maybe so, but this is not normal. We can never say never though. Everyone's brain is wired differently.

I think the "psychological" explaination is more than feasible...I have had times where I have been really baked in a situation that might have made me uncomfortable or put me on edge...and I would shake like someone with Parkinson's. I have also had instances where I've twitched, and seen others do it when baked, but I think that's because of the type of MJ more than anything...because it only happened with schwaggy stuff. I think Nerphroll is right tho, you might have a reason to be concerned with the extent of the twitching experienced

Once in a great while, I will get a headrush that will make me twitch. I am sdudieing the "headrush" now and am finding some strainge consistancies. The twitch happens only on a very intense headrush and not on small ones. That is the closest I have ever felt to passing out and still can hear and see everything very clearly. I just have very little control over my body. You know, the ones that make you sit down when you're standing...lol Other than this type of situation, you should not twitch or should twitch less when smoking. One of it's primary properties is to help spasticity or twitching. Smokey
