Arrow Permanent Short Term Memory Loss???!!!

I stopped smoking marijuana about 8 months ago... At first I was just smoking occasionally :spark: (a few times a month, once a week at most)... Thereafter, I started smoking several times daily (~4-6X+) for about 3-4 months... Say about an eighth of an ounce (3.5 grams) give or take about a gram or two depending on occasion (once in a while I would smoke up to a quarter of an ounce [7 grams] between a couple of friends in the span of a day)...

At first when I started smoking occasionally I would get short term memory loss while I was high and several days later (usually 1-2 days but no more than 3-4 days) but in no way was this short term memory loss permanent!... I would get all my memory back as it was in its original state after the usual hangover! However, when I started smoking daily... I would get the usual short term memory loss while I was high but I would give my memory no time to recuperate so it can go back to its original state as it was before (on occasion maybe a day, which is not sufficient), so I ended up getting used to the short term memory loss (a dazed state of mind for about 3-4 months and within this time period a negligible amount of sober hours [anywhere from 1-12 hours], on occasion a day) since I was high practically all day and if I wasn't high I was hung over from previously getting high and if I wasn't hung over I was sleeping etc...

Then I decided to stop smoking to prepare for enlisting in the military (after about 3-4 months of smoking daily as I've mentioned before... At this point my tolerance was so high that there was in turn no high!... No matter how much I smoked!... I even trained my self to counteract the effects of munchies [hunger pangs] to the point of satiability... But if I wanted to eat I could’ve changed my state of mind from satiability to insatiability.)... I thought I would regain my short term memory in it's original state as I have in the past!... Alas!... A week passed by (no change), a month (things started to get better but not like before...... not like before!), 3 months etc... And here I am now 8 months later with an ok short term memory but once again no where near what it was in the past!... Principal goes a long way!!!

Even though I believe I’ve acquired the knowledge to regain my original short term memory back if not better … Any statements or advice from anyone of high or low rank would be appreciated! Thanks for reading and commenting in advance!... I hope that someday I can return the favor!

Sincerly,

Manny Mims (Mimi)
