Hi

I got some buds that were super hairy (why is that?), so last night I spent half an hour pulling out clumps of hair to try smoking separately. I left a ton of hair on the buds, but I ended up with 3 and a half bowls of just hairs... It was only 1/8, I think that's a crazy amount of hair!

Anyway, I never tried smoking hairs alone before. I smoked two in a row, and it hit me about 5 minutes after the second bowl, and I was totally blitzed. I don't usually get high like that anymore, but this was way higher, even. I felt nauseous and pretty crappy physically, so I laid down on the couch. I couldn't get up, but I felt great lying down. My mind was just full of creative ideas.

So after half an hour I was able to get back up and not feel sick, so I sat down at my computer and felt a horribly urgent need to talk. I just wanted to say anything to anyone, but I didn't want to bother anyone because it was late. So I thought I'd post on here, but I couldn't do anything at all. My thoughts were racing so fast and I couldn't concentrate on one thought at all (I could before I got up though) and my mind just hopped from one cool thought to another every few seconds. I couldn't concentrate long enough to do *anything* at all. It was so close to being cool because my mind was so active, but it sucked because I was totally unable to even write an email or read anything or even listen to music. I had to turn it off. It was weird.

As I sat there trying to do something, I had to keep moving, too. You're probably all gonna laugh at me, but I was moving my arms like a chicken (you know, that chicken dance thing) and I was sort of kicking my legs. I could control what part of me I moved, but I couldn't stop moving. It was crazy!

And I wasn't feeling particularly paranoid or anything, but my muscles were all really tight, like in my neck and head and shoulders. I thought that was weird too, but it goes along with the other things I was feeling.

Oh yeah, but after about an hour, I felt great, the buzz that was left was perfect, or it would have been had I not felt so utterly drained. So that was cool, anyway...

Sooooo... I am definitely not looking for medical advice, but I am wondering what's up with the hairs (and why the buds were so astonishingly hairy) and if anyone has ever experienced something like this before.

Sorry for the wordiness, I like to say stuff, being concise sucks, hehe.

Sounds cool... unfortunately I've never been smoking a bud with hair. You just can't get stuff like that from Estonia

Anyway, I am going to Netherlands on summer and I hope I can smoke some great bud with muchos-muchos hair (dreadlocks perhaps )

The 'hairs' contain A LOT of THC, so, as I understand it, smoking an entire bowl of them is considerably more potent than a bowl of regular buds.

I was always under the impression that the hairs contain no more THC than the rest of the bud. Bright hairs are a sign of a lot of THC, but they don't contain more themselves. I seem to recall reading that in the forums somewhere, anyone wanna help me out before I go searching?

Depending on the strain, the hairs will have equal or more THC than the flower petals. So it soundsl like you got a very strong doseof THC andg got a very manic creative high. Now if you do t again, try to gut down on the amount of "hairs" and you should be a able to direct the creative mania into a constructive pathway. It takes some practice of using cannabis to make the most of it. Jusyt be sure to do your practicing in a safe environment where you don;t have to drive.

I just wrote the best story in the world but the thread didn't post right and now its lost forever. ARG! To make a long story short, I pick up an ounce one time and it was loaded with hairs. I plucked out enough for a nice size joint, called my smoking partner in crime, my exgirlfriend, and we put my little project to test.

The high was extremely energetic, and blew us out of our mind. After a good 10 mins a bad subject was brought up and we got into an argument. After bringing up a good point, a second later I would forget why I even brought it up in the first place, same went for her. We both agreed that the hairs must have tripped us out. So we called it a night and we both left in pure and utter confusion!

The next day we were fine. Both her and I were like, "What the heck happened last night!" Hairs are crazy, till this day I still don't know exactly what the heck is in them. (Someone more edumukated on the subject please let me know...) But hey, u ain't tried blazing until u at least experienced this though, so start that plucking boy!

Hi all,

I am new to this exciting and informative site, after reading your post, i recalled an evening when a few of my friends and i received a massive parcel of some really good stuff, there where so many little hairy fibres and we all decided to roll a spliff with just the fibres.

After the joint was finished we all sat on the balcony and totally wasted away into the evening, it was only after an hour that we decided to do stuff, whilst doing so each one would always blurted out how highly rocked they are and in effect i too was pretty waste, it was a very pure high without a heavy head or any sort of ill feeling!!

So every chance i get to smoke hairs, i jump for it!!
