i've been wondering this for some time. people say old, dried weed is less potent. surely it is not more potent, but dried and broken up weed hits better and harder, with more smoke, than new weed. is my bag just not properly dried? weed does seem to sell pretty quickly around here, probably no time to let it dry right.

how much potency does old weed lose?

Unless the bag is like 20 years old its not anything noticeable. But if its not dried correctly it can loose potency.... nothing you can really do about it, the grower would be at fault.

Sounds like it is dried but not cured. You can cure wed yourself in about a week by placing it in a tupperware containernot much larger than the weed laid out flat. Place in a dark place for a week to 2 weeks and once a dayduring that time, open the container and turn over the budz. In a week the plant wmatter will have decarboxylized changing the aTHC to delta9THC which is what you are looking for. I don;t know if this works on comrpessed weed but does nicely for budz
