| Hi guys! I'm a first time poster here. I'm having some problems with my smoking lately. I've been smoking on the weekends for about 2 years now. But only in the last few months have I begun to get truely, very high. It seems that when I smoke and then for one reason or another, I'm alone, I begin to actually "see" things and I become very paranoid. Since these things have begun happening, I have made the decision to never drive stoned again. I nearly have gotten in an accident multiple times. A have a few questions for you guys out there: 1. What would explain this sudden rush of feeling high just recently? 2. Is it normal to feel a bit "detached" and lazy? It seems as if the whole world is different to me now in subtle ways. 3. Also, is it normal to feel like I am high sometimes when I haven't even smoked that day? It's a very strange sensation and it bothers me. I enjoy getting high alot and I find it to be alot of fun when I have nothing else to do, but I am much more concerned about my health and safety. | |

| 3. You're just a little burned out. The feeling of being kind of high means that you got really high yesterday. The closest thing marijuana has to a hangover. It is normal. Anything I could say on the rest of your post would be pure speculation, and I'm sure someone else can give a better response.

| After a large session the night before...I paid a visit to a friend's room around 2pm. He told me he still felt nearly as high as the night before...I think it just happens sometimes. As for the rest...sounds like a normal high, maybe you weren't ever getting high for 2 years, but are now? It sounds crazy, but I could see it. Were there any changes you made to your act of smoking that got you so high? |

| Yes you can get lazy sometimes. Hell sometimes all i want to do after smoking is sleep after eating some munchies. And if you get his lazy feeling a lot be carefull not to smoke too much and you know what happens then...you quit school...get kicked out of house....smoke some more weed....sleep in a van....sell your van for weed... and before you know it you are a crack head. this is called amotivacional syndrome or something like this.... its when you get too lazy to do anything...and this is not anti-weed mumbo jumbo i seen it happen and its sad....

| 1. What would explain this sudden rush of feeling high just recently? Are you smoking a different strain of weed? For me, I change the weed and I get real trippy the first few times I smoke it. Are you taking any other type of medication, or did you stop taking anything? Perhaps you are finally getting high? 2. Is it normal to feel a bit "detached" and lazy? It seems as if the whole world is different to me now in subtle ways. For me, yes. I can get lazy when High. I get that detached feeling if akin to a "hang over" the night after. This also will depend on how much smoke, and the type of smoke. Daniel

| Well for the medication. I only take an acne antibiotic, that's all. Oh yeah, I'll drink a few beers every now and then. I beleive my getting high recently is just due to smoking kindbud now. That's pretty much all I smoke. As for questions 2 and 3, they go much deeper than what you all have explained. I truly feel "different" now. It's almost as if the whole world has changed completely. I just totally think of things differently. This is when I am sober. I do not have to be high at all for things to be this way. | |
