| i got some silverhaze which was real wet and by the second day "still wet" most of the buds had a coat of white mildew around it. i know silverhaze should be silver but im almost positive the white is not dry crystals that have changed color. Since then, my throat has been unusually burning and i wanted to know how bad mold weed can be, i still have some more and would like to know if maybe smoked through a bong would filter the bad stuff. any comments, thanks | |

| Aww that totally sucks! If you know your dealer, you should try asking for your money back. :-( Yeah, but don't smoke any more of that stuff. |

| WAIT !! lol a friend of mine had soggy weed his sister came to him with a big soggy bud, and said "i found this in the dryer" so he went on the net and found out that he must microwave it to kill the fungus+everything, so he could still smoke it so he microwaved it (not sure how long wtc) but he said it shrank by about 75%. his baggie had this goldish looking weed, which was f@cking potent !!!!!!! lol and all crumbed up :P so give that a try....... | |

| Damp weed is not necessarily moldy ... But if you take into account that a microwave heats (or dries) by exciting water molecules with radio wave frequencies...and that excited water molecules form steam...which cause heat...and that THC vapourizes at a very low temp...wouldn't you chance microwaving your THC right out of your pot... ![]() And inhaling mold spores (which by the way can withstand microwaving) into your lungs is still a ![]() | |

| I know that the microwave can be used to do whatever process "activates" the thc for weed that is ingested verus smoked. So it appears that as long as water doesn't get in the way, all the potency will still be potent in some form on the weed. |

| Yes, there are other active ingredients that make pot stoney other than THC. Very mature budz are quite high in CBN ~ cannabininiol ~ which is very very stoney "making" IN fact the CBN rich pot is quite effective as an anti inflamatory and to bypass the effect of the stonieness is used as a poultice (compress of the plants) on rheumatic and arthritic joints to ease the pain ans swelling of arthritic diseases in herbal medicines. By the way what "activates" pot? Anything that releases the THC and other cannabinoids...in most cases heat...boiling water works too...anything that releases the chemicals from the cell walss in which they are enclosed and encapsulated in the cytoplasm of the plant cell. | |
