What causes it?
i always thought it was because of the smoke that u inhale and sucks up all the moisturin ur mouth,but if that was the case,then y dont cig smokers get it?, is it a canabinoid (sp?) that causes it?
any 1 wanna help me with this?

I thought cigarettes did give you cottonmouth... heh maybe its because all the tar. I would like to know this for sure also.

first...couton is correct ...in french

second...from my personal unscientific research, if you are well hydrated you don;t get cotton mouth (okay, I drink water all the time, so do my buddies...we live in the south with water bottles plastered to our hands)...constant sipping...result...No cotton mouth...and great complexions!

So my thinking is cotton mouth is sudden awarenes that your body is greatly dehydrated...Drink more water and you won;t get it...

Of course that is my own opinion and as you know I have been known to occassionally imbibe the use of cannabis.

When you smoke everything that has mucus drys out, including you mouth and you eyes thats why they get red and in some people including my your nose too.

actually the "red eyes" are due to the dilation of your capillaries casued by THC.

Your blood pressure drops too ...whichis why folks get dizzy when they stand up after a session...the drop in blood pressure

Your blood pressure will increase with Sativa type weeds, which have a tendency to cause racey and ...to some folks to some extent a more "paranoid" high. But they are also the more "creative" and "manic" highs.

Since Sativas take about twice as long to come to maturity then Indica's -- straight Sativa's are not often grown by commercial growers looking for quick turn around. But you can get them occassionally. Breeders have crossed the Indica/Sativas for some intense Sativa highs with Indica flowering times.

Personally, I'm more of an Indica gal .
