| Hi. I just started taking a perscription of 45 mg of adderrol and some amount of zoloft in the morning. I also took 1 mg of Lorazepam in the morning (5:30) (it's perscription but I had too much this time by accident and it feels really good) yesturday. I had 1 1/2 hours of sleep the night before. Then, at around 4:20 PM I had 16 oz of Monster Energy Drink. Then I smoked for the seventh time in my life, I don't know how much, but the world started spinning. Like, my friends and I were stationary, but everything else was flat and spinning like the gravitron (an amusement park ride). My friends were flat, too, but not spinning. If I stopped breathing or flexed my muscles or hugged myself, the world would stop spinning. Then everything looked like a videogame, but entirely in pastels. Like cell-shading or the movie "Waking Life." I saw this sunset and felt that if I died just then I would be content because it was so awesome, and I felt like this is what going to heaven would feel like if it were real. Was I just really high for the first time, or were other drugs reacting weirdly with the perscriptions? What should I do? Is this addictive? Will it go away? Is it damaging physically or mentally? Which drug was it? I need the medication (unless I could somehow get a different medication that treats the same symptoms), and would like to be able to smoke again. |

DON'T MIX DRUGS! That's all you need to know... Other than that key peice of advice, the symptoms you describe should stop. If not, tell your doctor, because mixing drugs can definitely have very negative side effects on your body and mind.

Weed doesn't interact with any of the medications you're taking. However, the medications you're taking DEFINATELY increase your chaces of having anxiety attacks, expecially if you're being mis-diagnosed by your doctor (very probable). My advice is to get off of those medications unless you absolutely HAVE to take them to function.

| 45 mg of Adderall is a huge hit of speed, especially if it's not the timed-release version. The combination of large doses of amphetamines and large doses of cannabis can produce semi-psychedelic effects. You must have a pretty severe case of ADD or ADHD to require such a large dose of Adderall.

| hold on homey, I'm not a doctor, OK, but listen to year's of experience with prescription drugs and their effects and the effects of mixing herb with that. First, your age, history, family background, how long have you been prescribed these medications, have you ever had these symptoms before? There's way too many questions to be answered here for any one who is not a doctor to give you any answers! I have a great deal of knowledge concerning the drugs you mentioned but would not even begin to mention any course of action other than to stop smoking herb and report to your doctor or doctor's the symptoms you describe. Adderall and lorazepam will interact with each other at high dosages, so that is a bad combination to me, especially when you say you, had too much by accident and it feels really good? ![]() From the description of the symptoms it sounds like to me as a reaction from Lorazepam poisoning! You need to see your doctor, homey, and I'm not joking. Herb can intensify the effects of this class of drugs, especially if you are young and inexperienced. Mixing of these drugs can cause overdose and does all the time. Be safe, OK? Some Where In Ded Land............

I had what sounds like an anxiety attack recently from smoking too much, but I don't take lorazepam if I'm going to smoke, and take it less than once a month. I didn't take anything else, so it is possible that the weed was laced, but no one else who I was with felt what I did. I now take 150 mg of Zoloft. If I was fine with 100 mg, will I be fine with 150? P.S. I need to take these drugs. If I had to choose between marijuana and my prescriptions, I'd choose my prescriptions every time. But I don't think I have to choose, because I've been fine lately. Thanks guys, you've helped me more than any other forum ever has. You've made a real difference in my life, and it's hard for me to tell you how much I appreciate your advice.

| Were you started off on those doses or did you start off on lower doses and because the lower doses were ineffective your doses were increased? I agree with Buzzby no matter what your weight is that is a large amount of medicine as evident that you are probably on the lorazepam to counter the side effects of the Zoloft and Adderall. |
