Hi there. I have been a constant weed smoker for over 6 years, and the problem I am experiencing is not recent. For the past 2 years, I have not been having good effects from smoking weed.

I was once like you though!! It was great! I'd get so high, my body would feel so good, and it was millions of times better than anything. Everything was interesting. But that all changed about 2 years ago... and I do not know what caused it, or how to cure it.

The symptoms range from chest pains (which is like no other pain I have felt... it feels quite different from normal pain) to numbness inside of my chest. Also, I feel cold after I smoke it, and experience general discomfort in my chest. Recently, my right eye has had this big vain in it which sort of swells up once in a while, and even worse, the right pupil now dilates more than my left! What is this!?

I tried quiting a couple times, but I kept trying to get high again many times. There were times when I'd just smoke it and REALLY hope I'd get high, but abot 99 percent of the time I just experienced the bad effects. I thought maybe these effects would just go away. Everytime I smoked with my friends (which was alot, cause all my friends smoke it constantly) I would experience discomfort... but they'd all be lovin' it. Just like I once used to. But now, I finally made the decision to QUIT for good, since it is not getting me high anymore... I simply get paranoid that I'm going to have a heart attack or something. And I don't like it anymore, it doesn't do to me what it does to most people...

So what is wrong with me? I do not know. My doctor was not much help. He thought I was just suffering from depression or something, and gave me Celexa!! I was baffled... so I am trying to get a new doctor to figure out what is wrong with me!

If anyone has had similar effects, or just bad effects in general, please notify me!

This is my PLEA!! I really miss getting high!!! PLEASE HELP ME! I want to get stoned again, without feeling my chest is going to explode.

Would this happen with any kind of weed you smoked?
I've never heard of effects like that... I know that sometimes weed makes the heart beat fast enough to make your chest hurt, but it's never that severe.

Perhaps you're allergic to weed- that's not unheard of. Mamabudz prolly knows what's going on better...

Yes, I was wondering maybe I might be allergic to it. Does anyone else have a similar story? BTW: I am a totally healthy 21 year old who has had tests done on my heart, which all turned out saying I am 100 percent healthy. Lung test went fine too. So again, wtf is wrong with me!! I wanna get high again!

You don't get around to posing much do you brento? You started this thread over a year ago.

I can't give you any reasons why the weed did those weird things, i'm just glad you decided to quit before it got worse. It may be an allergic to some chemicals used as pesticides, but thats just a guess...

Did you seriously tell your doctor about this? Did you say you were having chest pains overall, or that you got them when you smoked weed? IMO, MD = Mini Dea. Watch what you say to your doc, I had one that "let" information get into the hands of a LEO when I had a problem that was compounded with getting high.

Ya I think that's happened to me. I have asthma and thought it was that, but my inhaler didn't help and my overall breathing was fine. I think it might be a certain type of weed or something. Plus, I'm a pretty fat hitter, so I just took my hits a little smaller and it went away. The few times that it happened to me, I just watched a movie or played video games with friends. If you ignore it and forget about it it should go away (at least it did for me). Another tip: try getting a vaporizer, cuz you can barely feel those, It might help. Good luck, sounds like hell not bein able to blaze!

P.S. This is like 3 years late, but I just saw it and had to say somethin. Hope someone finds it useful.
