| I believe that I suffer from a sleep disorder called Restless Leg Syndrome. I say I believe because after months and years of complaining my parents finally sent me to a doctor. Unfortunatly they sent me to a chiropractic doctor who refused to diagnose RLS because I don't kick at night. All the literature I've read on the subject says that kicking is a different disorder that sometimes goes along w/ RLS. You know that feeling in your legs and knees when you've been riding in a car for hours and if you don't stretch your legs you'll go nuts. I have that sensation for hours on end no matter how much I stretch. It happens mostly at night and keeps me awake. I have found that marijuana is about the only thing I can do to get to sleep at a decent hour. I'm debating going to a sleep specialist, but I know that the drugs prescribed for this are the same thing prescribed for Parkinson's disease and I don't think I want to be on them. Has anyone else experienced this or other sleep disorders?
