| They aren't really talking about smokable drugs. What they're talking about is drugs that can be inhaled, i.e. vaporized. The preferred way of administering medical marijuana uses that technique. When the prohibitionists talk about how medical marijuana is a bad thing, one of their points is always that you smoke it and smoking is bad for you. There's no way that they don't know about vaporizer technology. They withhold the information because it doesn't fit into their agenda.

| As the article put "smokable" in quotations, it was clear that the indication was not of combustable particulated smoke but rather the inhalation of medication and rapid pasage of chemicals through the lung. As an example a "vaporized" version of an existing drug was used as illustration. The point is however, as you repeated above, is that the popular myth that medication is not smoked (inhaled) is put to task -- hence the reason for posting this link. |

| My point was that "smoking" has negative connotations - health issues. These issues are a key point in most prohibitionists' arguments against the medical use of marijuana. When someone speaks of inhalable medications as smokable medication they play into that. For the sake of advancing medical marijuana, there has to be a clear awareness that it doesn't have to be smoked. |

| We are on the same page -- I found the title of the Article to be extremely provocative inasmuch as it claimed "smokeable" -- and was a positive representation of inhaled medication. That the article made it past the editors and censors with that title is of note as demonstrative of change. |
