hey there guys, i am a new member here, but i am avid member of other grow/cannabis sites... i grow and all that...well I have been smoking cannabis for about 7-8 years total...and the last about 5 it's been the highest quality cannabis everyday...I have been suffering from horrible anxiety, both general and social... i DO NOT just get the anxiety when I am high, i have it all the time, sober or not... do you guys think that over time I aquired this anxiety via cannabis? I am really just looking for other peoples experiences and such...I am really contemplating quitting for a while after 4-20... I just don't see a need to quit if it's not going to help... please if anyone can help me cuz this anxiety sucks!!!!! btw im still young only 22

The only way to tell is to quit for a couple of weeks and see how you're feeling. If you're smoking high-end weed every day you never really get it out of your system.

yeah man...i mean...i smoke really high end sinsemillia...so your saying if it's that high grade, even quitting won't get it out of my system?? I think I am just going to have to quit for a while and see how I feel...I really appreciate your help man cuz this shit alrady made me quit school

No. What I said was that if you're smoking high grade every day you never get it out of your system while you are doing that. It'll take week or so to find out how you feel when you're "clean".

Have you talked with close friends and/or family about whats going on? If, as you say, this is your day to day reality then it would seem to me that something else is going on. Like I said, find someone you trust and if you have a Doctor then take a deep breath and go...

yeah man, of course i told my moms and i've already went to the doctor, all he does is wanna try pills n shit i did paxil, and zoloft for a short period...that shit isn't for me...then I went to the phsycologist to no avail, shit didn't work...same with hypnotherapy...and yeah this is my day to day shiiiit, living with anxiety

youve been smoking for 7 or 8 years? and youre only 22, thats like a 1/3 of your life, and you probably dont remember the first 1/3, so thats like only 1/3 where youve been sober enough to find out who you are and you usually only find yourself after youve gone through puberty and it sounds like youve been high most of that time. IF youre not getting help by any other method and you think it possibly induced by the weed, then youre gonna have to get sober.
Not just a couple weeks either, like a couple years id say at least 4 years, at first when you look at it it seems alot; just think when you first started smoking did you think that youd be 8 years into it? if you think that four years is forever then youre not mature enough(youve obviously got a lot to learn about patience) to realize how fast four years really is and what you can do with that time. comparitively its just a short chapter in your life

Why? Heavy, daily smokers are indistinguishable on psychological and memory tests from people who have never smoked after a month.

I recently cut way back because my vaporizer was broken and I don't like to smoke. After five days of that my tolerance went to zero and when I vaped my usual amount I was flat on my back for an hour.

when you spend almost all your adolesence high, and you are suffering serious anxiety issues and nothing else is working, i recommend stoping and living life sober for awhile, anytime sober is better than none. It will take a while for your life to change, four years is adequate time to notice a life change.
