Hey guys,

I'm a new member and I'be been meaning to post this for a long long time. I'm going to try and rec-creat what happened to me in hopes that someone here can diagnose what happened to me.


It was March of 2006 and I was blazing with a close buddy of mine at my crib. I've been blazing pretty regularly for 9 years now and this was 3 days after me getting my US citizenship. As you can understand I was beyond cloud 9 from getting my citizenship. I've been in the US for 15 years now and it was a long process. Now maybe this has something to do with it, but I was under a shitload of stress before I got my citizenship. I was in love with a girl whose visa had expired and she had to leave the US. Me getting my citizenship would help pave the way to evenutally bring her back to the US so there was a lot of pressure on me. To complicate matters I ahd a DUI arrest on my record and I had to hire a lawyer to represent me during my interview.

Anyways to make a long story short, I get my citizenship and 3 days later I am toking away at my house with my buddy.

Symptoms:

Out of nowwhere I get this "brain Jolt" or zap that sends this feeling from my brain all the way to my legs and hands and then back to my brain. I let it slide but then it happens again a few times and now my heart is racing pretty bad. I go to the bathroom and wash my face with cold water which helps a bit but then I get real light headded. I tell me buddy that I don't feel too good and that I was to go to the hospital. On the way to ER I get this tingling feeling in my hands. Its like when your hand goes to sleep and then it wakes up again.

Anway in ER they check everything and keep me their overnight.


Aftermath: We'll its been more than a year now and obviosly I don't toke anymore. I have smoked after that probably 6-7 times and each time I feel like I am having a panic attack. I'be been checked by Doctors like 5 times and they have cleared me every time. I get panic attcks now when I take some supplements and get brain jolts from time to time.


I was on Xanax for a while and have recently quit smoking cigs too which I feel great about. But I miss smoking up, and I have read so much about panic attacks that I feel I will never be able to smoke again.


Why did this happen to me? Does it have anything to do with the stress level I was going though (The Citizenship exam)? Can I smoke again down the line? How can I make it better?


I have so many questions to ask..is there a Doc I can go see about this someone who is knowledgebale about weed and panic attacks??
