Unhappy Withdrawl...?

This is my first post here so let me introduce myself. My name is Kamil, I've been a daily smoker for almost 2 years now... I quit smoking about a week ago, and I think I've been experiencing some withdrawal symptoms...

I've been getting some panic attacks. I usually get heart palpitations, and that causes me to freak out even more. Along with the palpitations i get minor chest pains, and i keep having the feeling that I'm going to die, or have a heart attack. I've been experiencing this for the past 2-3 days. All day i spend in fear thinking there's something wrong with me... I'm going to the hospital tomorrow morning to get checked out, because of the extreme fear that there's something wrong with my heart.

Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? I would greatly appreciate any help, and I am in constant worry that there's something wrong with me.

Welcome slipvayne to a great site!

Re: your question and since you're new here.
There are a lot of posts already here specific to your issue. You'll get the information you want a lot faster (and make the members here happier) if you use the search feature before posting.
Try a search with - panic attack heart -
Good luck...

Your symptoms are either psychosomatic or due to some other medical problem. Heart problems are not associated with marijuana withdrawal. Most people experience no symptoms at all. Those who do usually have some sleep disturbances and depression for a few days. If you've been smoke-free for a week, any physical symptoms should have passed by now.
