| This is my first post here so let me introduce myself. My name is Kamil, I've been a daily smoker for almost 2 years now... I quit smoking about a week ago, and I think I've been experiencing some withdrawal symptoms... I've been getting some panic attacks. I usually get heart palpitations, and that causes me to freak out even more. Along with the palpitations i get minor chest pains, and i keep having the feeling that I'm going to die, or have a heart attack. I've been experiencing this for the past 2-3 days. All day i spend in fear thinking there's something wrong with me... I'm going to the hospital tomorrow morning to get checked out, because of the extreme fear that there's something wrong with my heart. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? I would greatly appreciate any help, and I am in constant worry that there's something wrong with me. |

| Your symptoms are either psychosomatic or due to some other medical problem. Heart problems are not associated with marijuana withdrawal. Most people experience no symptoms at all. Those who do usually have some sleep disturbances and depression for a few days. If you've been smoke-free for a week, any physical symptoms should have passed by now.
