sometimes when i smoke about 2 blunts or so i sit there and i can hear my heart beat racing and somtimes it makes me bug out and get all paranoid and **** thinking that the **** is laced with somthing. so does weed make your heart beat fast as hell or is that just your mind ****ing with you cause there have been times when i'm ****ed up off my ass when i think my heart is beating to the beat of the music....now thats some funny ****.also there have been times where i get bad anxiety and my chest tightens up and i can't sit still...has this **** ever happned to anybody else...is this a sign that i should quit or what?

This is the wrong forum, but it sounds like you're experience aniexity/panic attacks. I wouldn't be too worried about it, usually it means you've just smoked too much. Sometimes you may think your heart is racing, but it is just an 'echo' and it is only beating at 1/2 the rate.

My heart beats a lot faster as well
i think it's a normal thing, it's never scared me or caused any harm either

Your mind sometimes makes you think it is beating faster then it is. Nothing to be worried about though and you shouldn't try to let it detract from your overall enjoyment of being high.

Oftentimes your heart rate increases because you are holding your breath as you are trying to take a hit...

And relaxing deep breaths will help... So will set and setting (where you smoke and whom you smoke with)

Yeah I get the heartbeat a lot

Sometimes I freak out and think I'm having a heart attack, and I start hyperventilating too (I hyperventilate a lot when I freak out) so it makes me dizzy and I think I'm dying and ****, and sometimes too my chest tightens up or I have chest pains... could be from my blood pressure. My blood pressure can go from through the roof to normal really quickly, I had it checked and it was like super high and then they checked it again and it was normal and this has happened twice so I guess my cardiovascular system is just weird

The best way to cure that sort of freak out is to lie down and listen to Moby... that music lets me chill out so much.

Yes, marijuana affects your heart rate in this way. It is normal. Don't use marijuana if you have heart problems.
