| Hello, I have suffered from chronic low back and pelvic pain since 2003. I am currently in the military, but I am pending separation from the service due to my medical issues. Since 2003 I have been taking Narc's on/off to help manage my pain, but I hate the side affects and I was hoping Marijuana might be a better choice for me. At one point the Narc's I was being prescribed caused my kidneys to fail and since then I have been very leary of taking Narc's like Hydrocodone long-term. I have all the supporting documentation (med records) to justify requesting Medical Marijuana, but I am still not sure it will be what I am looking for, in terms of pain relief. I was hoping to hear from anyone who has a similar medical history, and if so, does Marijuana work better for you than prescription drugs. I have been in the military for 12 years and haven't smoked pot since my teens, I am 37 now. I'd like to hear from people who actually benefit from using Marijuana for the reasons I stated above, and not people who take advantage of this prop. for obvious reasons. Thank you, Scott |
