| I have been a long distance runner for some time now and have my best runs after getting high. i usually start doing blades as im getting dressed and stretching by the time im ready to leave i have a good buzz going. I have a bullet pipe that i take with me and stop along the way for a toke or two. I am very healthy and most likely would ingest weed another way eg eating having tea ect but its too expensive. I run without weed also but dont really have as much fun. I run for anywhere between 1-3 hrs. am I killing myself? does anyone have a similar habit ? with other sports ? tahnx |

| believe it or not i smoke a little before i go to work out and lift weights. i can focus on parts of my muscles and really get into it. |

| i totally agree , i can feel all my muscles responding. i feel very in tune with my body and can also enjoy all the sights of the city. My favorite route runs through the worst part of town which really motivates me to try and live healthy and help my fellow man |

| I try to play 3-4 rounds of golf a week. Golf is very enjoyable while high. I smoke before and during my rounds. Concentration levels are high when figuring out your shot and the walk between shots allows you to day dream and keep in tune with nature (and check on my guerrilla grows). I wouldn't recommend smoking and learning how to play golf. Golf is one of the hardest games known to man, so get a good feel for the game and toke later. --golfnstoned-- |

| Your definately not killing yourself. Giving yourself that cariovascular workout is great. I wish i could get motivated enought to go running for 3 hours when im stoned. the most I can get myself around to doing is working the heavy bag every now and then. but Im so lazy when im stoned, I ussually just wind up playing video games.

| I usually hate running or jogging. In fact, the only time i've enjoyed it was when i was on a drug i'm not going to discuss that resembles something you'd put on pizza. Oh, i guess that's no true. Once a friend of mine started chasing me while i was baked and i ran my ass off. it was lotsa fun |

| Having been a long time daily smoker,I have had the oppurtunity to toke and work out a lot in the last thirty years or so.My favorite pastime has always been toking up a good buzz and getting physical in some way. Heres a good example....I trimmed trees away from power lines in the City of Cincinnati for about five years.This can be very strenuous and also very dangerous.One small touch on the line carrying the juice and you could be very dead or injured.I tried to have a buzz whenever I was tied in and trimming a big old 120+ foot tree,nothing under me but the ground,a 5/8's inch rope all that was holding me from certain death! As a matter of fact,I carried a one hitter with me most of the time and smoked in the tree whenever I got the chance.It's always been one of my favorite activity's.The tree sways back and forth in the wind,and it's like your soaring in the sky,riding the wind.... Man,listen up.If you enjoy it and you think you can handle it,I say go for it!I'm not saying for anyone to go out there and hurt themselves,but if they do,it's because they weren't ready for it or took a stupid chance. If I went out and tried to run for about three hours,I'd fall over dead in about ten minutes.If someone tried to follow me up a tree,they might have a hard time before they fell and killed themselves.Of course use common sense about anything you do,especially if your high,but to me it seems like you have it together! | i also enjoy jogging with a good buzz. golf sometimes. some of my best (and worst) rounds of golf have been stoned. lifting weights can be harder after smoking pot. my overall theory on getting the max pleasure from pot is the "spring" theory: the mind is like a spring which gets tight from the stress of life and work. pot helps to unwind this mental spring. my pleasure comes from unwinding this mental spring. if i smoke everyday the high is not as good. i try to only smoke on friday nights, long weekend holidays, and vacations. i recently had a very long vacation and didn't enjoy getting high everyday. |

| I work out for an average of 1-2 hours a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. I love smoking before I work out/jog...or sometimes I wait to enjoy a joint after the excercise. Call it a reward. ![]() Yes, jogging high is great. Everything is great high! Later. Peace. ![]() | |

| I have a question...if smoking marijuana increases your heartbeat and you then go and excercise (increasing your heartbeat more) couldn't that be bad for your heart, like overstressing it or something?
