I'm just wondering if it's safe to smoke when I have a cold or flu?

smoking pot is probably the best thing for a flu.. you will totally forget your sick dude.. it makes you feel 420% normal.. my mom used to leave me a couple buds before she went to work when i had the flu.. good medicine

Perfect timing - I was just wondering about this since I've been sick since Sunday. I was pondering the possibility that all the pot I smoked on 4/20 weakened me up and made me susceptible.....

But now that I type that out, I realize it can't be true, because 2 individuals that don't smoke caught the same bug, and the heaviest pot smoker of all isn't sick.

Anyway, haven't done much toking since 4/20 because of the sickness....(Except to comment on a certain moderator's eyeball avatar)

if you are smoking from a pipe with other people while you are stoned: i dont know if this does anything, but when i have a slight cold and am smoking with other people, after i take a hit, i take the lighter and light the mouth peice of the pipe for a few seconds. the heat might kill some of the germs you left from taking the hit, but then agian it may not. better safe than sorry, right?

I've done the same. Specifically, I would do it when someone else had a cold and I smoked after them. Sometimes people will give you flak for it, but give me flak over this nasty sickness any day.
