| Howdy all!!! You also questioned some help for cutting back. I don't know your smoking habits, but to conserve a little, pack a bowl, roll joint.. Take a few hits, and see how it's gonna treat you. If you finish a whole bowl usually, you may find out that even 4-5 hits will get you to a therapeutic level. And a bowl could last you a good part of the day. | New Member | you are right, but that's my married name. actually i am english and irish, thus the addictive behaviour, piled on top of RC guilt, and the shame that one's upper lip just may not be stiff enough for real life ![]() thus so much guilt and insecurity about smoking weed. god aren't we just so complicated.....

| Jr. Member | hurray for the irish!! I am only 16 and I have been smoking since june 2000, but I have been smoking heavily since about thanksgiving. I sometimes smoke every day of the week, but then sometimes I take a week or even two off, usually because of lack of cash! But even after all of this, I find my highs lasting a shorter amount of time, and I need to smoke a lot more. Do you guys know anything else I can do to lower my tolerance other than stop smoking for a week or two? |

| Howdy huntccO2!! 2 things come to mind: 1) buy better cannabis 2) don't smoke all day long. (for me, at least) if I can wait till later in the day, the high stays longer, and it's usually a better feeling. If I smoke sun up to sun down (which I do on occassion) The feeling is less and less until I'm thinking to myself.. "Am I high? I just smoked, so I must be..." ~~hb | |

| New Member | it is such an individual thing i guess with so many factors. some of us feel we are 'addictive' and have guilt and anxiety about that. some simply don't have the money to buy the weed they need, or even regular access to it. some have other issues that get tangled up. certainly the environment is so important. yesterday was a lovely sunny day. i smoked a pipe in the morning then, for the first time this year, was able to wheel out to go to the bank and get the groceries. it was so cool to be out. then i made supper, started to get pretty sore and spastic and smoked another pipe to relax for the evening. today is cloudy and threatening rain. my muscles ache from yesterday's wheeling, though once i can get out a few more times i will get up to spring fitness levels. today i will likely smoke all day. i may also do some yoga and meditation which are good things to do on shut in days. i think for most of us, once we get past our guilt and legal and financial issues....... and other ****........ for most of us marijuana will be the most positive drug experience of our lifetimes. it has been for me. thanks for listening to my soapbox ![]() liz |
