| Berkely city council says for medical marijuana patients 2.5 lbs. or 10 plants. This is something sure to be asked everywhere that the herb is used for medical reasons, so jump in everyone. Should there be a limit on possesion? If you think so how much? |

| Howdy! Good question. The bottom line is patient acuity (how sick the person is). Some people can get by smoking a gram or 2 per day. Some people might need 10+ grams per day. 2 1/2 pounds is just over a kilogram (1000 grams) 1000 grams / 30 days = 33 grams per day I think it's relatively safe to say that 1000 grams is a month's supply. Cause it boils down to 33 grams a day. That's about an ounce a day per patient. That is a lot of medicine, and personally, I think it's a fair call. If those were the NATIONAL limits, most would be very happy. ~~hb... has smoke coming from ears as result of mathematics | |

| "Interpretations of what the ruling wouild mean to medical marijuana users in California varied." ".....Mendocino County District Attorney Norm Broman, whose policy is not to prosecute in cases where people have no more than six mature plants and 2 pounds of dry marijuana." I'm not too sure about the time frame & the paper didn't mention one but i think 6 mature plants & 2 pounds of cheeba should last for about a month & a half but of course i dont really think there should be a limit, however, there WILL be one & i think 2 pounds AND 6 plants for a month & a half is pretty reasonable for just about anyone. but i cant speak for everyone.... i'd be happy with that! | |

| I think the Canadian medical journal summed it up pretty well last week. Limits are a half measure developed by politicians to appease the law enforcement entities, and try to keep criminal controls on medical marijuana users. They called for outright legalization, as that is the only scenario that allows for patients to receive as much of the herb as needed, with NO fear of governmental reprisals. As they say, no time for half measures, and the only common sense thing to do. I say, emphatically, no!

| enough will be enough when,I can Legally buy it cheaper than I can grow it,given ahigh% comparable to a fictitious national average. When it's legal, the only controversy will be from govt.programs subsidizing the medicine to patients who don't pay for their buzz to begin with.!b.s.

| Howdy!!! I agree that the best scenerio would be full out legalization with the simplest of restrictions. But, I don't think it's gonna go down that way. Here's why... While those of us familiar with cannabis would be grateful and joyous of our new found freedom.. Those opposed or afraid of the change would demand some form of restriction and an outlet for control in case the country would go insane and anarchtic (is that a word?). And in case all of us emotionless, lazy, and nonsensical dopeheads toook over the universe. V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!!! For us it would be a celebration.. For the opposed it would be like turning loose an adolescent dragon, don't know how it will behave yet. You dig? The easiest way to control the supply and flow of the reborn plant would be to do just that... control the amount of flow and supply of the market. ~~hb | |
