yeah hillbilly nailed that one. When i use visine more then three times in a night my eyes start to sting and get red again...really sucks...

I've been smoking for almost four years now, everyday for the two years or so, unless I can't, then its no big deal. But anyway, I was saying that, because my eyes still get insanely red everytime i smoke, so that should blow the tolerance factor out the window. I also have no allergies, so I suppose its just bad luck.

Oh and here's the kicker:
One day, about three weeeks ago, Visine just stopped working. That was bad. Thing was, I didn't even know it, and my parents decided to search my room after my eyes were bloodshot to hell and back. Not good.

So I had to stop smoking for awhile, and Visine works again. I'm going to try switching to Clear Eyes, as you all seem to say it works better.

If I don't get RED eyes while I smoke (been smoking 7 months now) I am not fully HIGH.

I mean I can get buzzed and have just slight red eyes that you really cannot notice from a distance.

If my eyes arents BLOOD SHOT BAD then I am not fully HIGH. The more I smoke, the redder they get, they higher I get.

If there not RED at all, I am barely stoned (usually takes atleast 4 good hits to get the real RED eyes.

The longer ive been stoned for me is kinda an indicator of how red my eyes get, if i'm starting to feel kinda tired or burnt-out then my eyes are pretty red. And if the smoke actually somehow gets into my eye(being stoned and taking a "close" look at the cherry till it burns out) my eyes get real red. So when there's a joint going around and smoke is just in the air, my eyes will get itchy and red anyone else notice this?

okay, so just to confirm, the red bloodshot eyes are from irritation/allergic reaction to the SMOKE from weed, right?


if you ingest the THC through vaporization or through eating, (i.e. cannabutter, etc.), then would you get red-eyes?


My eyes get really red and itchy. I do have other allergies, and this feels like an allergic reaction in my eyes.. but it only happens sometimes, which makes me think that sometimes I'm just more careful and blow the smoke away and dont get it in my eyes.

somtimes it gets really bad, and my eyes itch really badly.. I'll have to rub them to relieve the itching.. sometimes I wake up in the mornings after a long night of toking to find that I have rubbed bruises around my eyes and my eyes hurt from me rubbing them so hard.

for me, I believe it's a combination of good weed, smoking outside, and not smoking too much, where I can get nice and baked without having red eyes

I agree with TheDude; when you're really high, you can feel it in your eyes whether they're red or not.

maybe good weed simply means less smoke, which consequently means less red-eye?

I do notice that when my eyes glaze over and i'm staring intently at something or nothing in particular, they tend to get red. this is usually somewhat alleviated by getting up, looking around at different things and 'exercising' my eyes, and maybe taking a quick breath of fresh outside air.

but when I'm megabaked, nothing can stop the red-eye!

My eyes used to get beat red every time I smoked. I learned that drinking a bottle of water with every bowl or so really helps. Now my eyes get a little pink at worse.

I think its parcialy building up immunity that will help you, smoke enough herb and shit like that wont effect you as much. Also, coughing seems to m ake your eye's alot redder while your blazing.

Go to a smoke shop and get a bottle of Roto, best eye drops I've ever used. They sting for like a whole minute, but work perfectly.
