 is this normal??? i was smoking some mex weed. I only smoked a bowl. About 5 minutes when the weed kicked in, it hit me really hard when i was watching TV. All of a sudden my heart raced pretty quick. THis only lasted about 1 min then went away. I let it ride and it went away. Is this normal??? Does the temorary increase in weed supposed to last this long or what???? PLus it was my first time in about 1 year. So maybe this has something to do with it or how i reacted. | |

| When i smoke "too much" after abstaining for a while, my heart goes crazy for a while and i have a hard time breathing sometimes... this has only ever happened twice i believe, and i don't think it's anything to worry about cuz it went away (as did mine) fairly quickly. If it happens continuously then you might want to start asking questions, otherwise i wouldn't worry about it..

| I have the same symptom as you, although I am 100% sure it is not marijuana related for me. I have a condition called Super Ventricular Tachecardia, or SVT for short. I will have episodes where my heart rate doubles, it kicks into a mode where it beats hard and fast. It will stay there until I do these exercises to get it to go away, such as holding my breath until I almost pass out. It is a pain, I need to get it fixed. |

| Have you seen a doctor yet though? If he says to stop smoking, well....you may need to.

| why would i?? Any dr will tell you not to smoke no matter who it is, Plus It was my first time smoking up in about a 1year. Quote:
