Me and one of my buddies(not a smoker) started to talk about legalization of medical marijuana. I said something along the lines of "Marijuana can be used for TONS of medical purposes like cancer." He replied with "Morphine is a much better drug for it." Wow i thought this guy was actually pretty smart. I wanted to tell him morphine is hella bad for you and all this other stuff to prove him wrong but I didnt want to start anything.

Funny thing is he was a avid Kerry supporter. Maybe he should have read up a little more on Kerrys stance on marijuana???

PS i dunno why i posted but maybe it was something like how the government instills in your brain that MJ is the Devil in plant form... ARGHHHH

People are just ignorant about marijuana. Well, less ignorant than brainwashed. I've talked to poeple whot hink you could die from smoking it, this was just last year...

For those of you that didnt know. Kerry was proposing to have a medical marijuana research. 10 Pounds would have been grown for testing by doctors.

Sole reason I was hoping Kerry would win, very dissapointed, but there's nothing we can do about it now.

10 pounds ain't that much.

Also the doctor's wouldn't be the ones smoking it, they'd have people sign up and test it and the Scientists would record the results and report their findings.

Weed and narcotics (off-topics) are a bit different so maybe your friend should read up on more than just what John Kerry thinks...

although I am sad he didn't get elected... I don't think he'd legalize weed, or could anyway...

but uhhmmm....at least he admits he's smoked and thinks it should be used for at least medical purposes..

anyway, we're doomed.. oh well.. I'm drifting...

He probably wouldn't have legalized it but, he would take the first steps to legalization.
