| Okay, for the past 7-8 months i have had at least *some* thc in my blood becasue i smoked at least once a week. For some reason, it feels like the weed is affecting how i feel when im sober too. I dont know if this is possible, but when I have assignments due and **** i tend to get really nervous about getting it done and ****. I guess i tend to break down a lot easier. Should i go clean for a while to see if i notice a difference or is it all in my head? | |

| usually when i smoke out alot one day and get really stoned, the next day is preety fun, especially in school. all the muslces in my body are relaxed the next day and i talk to myself like i do when im high. i enjoy the feeling, especially when im in school because it helps me concentrate on one thing at a time. i never been high in school though, maybe one day. this feeling ends by the end of the day though.

| I usually get a happy feeling the next day, where everything seems great and i feel good, not as good as when high, but still. It tends to go away after a day and then im back to "almost normal", which i find stays for 2-3 days afterwards, where i'm "sober, but just not as quick". After that i'm completely normal again. I find when i used to smoke less often (maybe once every 2 weeks) i'd have a LOT longer afteraffects then i do now, when i smoke almost every other day.

| i love pot and would smoke it every day if i could. but i started to realize i do enjoy it more when i do it less. i think each brain can only produce a certain level of happiness. if i smoke non-stop the pleasure quickly drops off to almost nothing. getting stoned helps me to relax and enjoy life, but i have to make up for it when i am not stoned. when i go without pot for over a month, i almost forget what it feels like to be stoned. in a way it is like sex. too much and it is not as exciting. getting stoned is kind of like manic-depression. when i am not stoned life seems boring, almost depressing, but stoned almost feels like a miracle of happiness. if i stop smoking for over a month, life seems more stable, but not as exciting, or depressing. no more highs and lows. i suspect it also affects my job performance over the long run. i've never been to work stoned but i start to feel slower, more depressed, less energetic a few days after smoking pot. i usually go 1 or 2 months without smoking to improve my work mentality and save the smoke for a special occassion / holiday weekend. i am now 47 years old and started smoking almost once a week since i was 18. sometimes more or less. i worked in singapore for almost 8 years and could only smoke once a year when i came back to US for vacation. so i have two health questions to see if anybody has noticed similar problems: 1. my urine flow increases for about 5 hours after i smoke, but if i go long periods without smoke it becomes difficult to urinate and empty the bladder. my doctor gave me 'flomax' prescription which seems to help relax the prostate which helps empty the bladder. doctor says they are not sure how the prostate affects urine flow. i have not told him i smoke pot, but i think he suspects that i do. 2. my right eye almost always develops a red spot (hemorrhage) about a week after i stop smoking. it lasts for about 2 or 3 days. the medical book says eye hemorrhage is usually harmless and nothing to worry about. it just looks bad when i show up for work. i met a heroin addict about 10 years ago with the whites of both eyes completely red. any advice, similar experience, comments would be appreciated. |

| Turbodude... Could you re-write your questions into a New Question thread? We can keep the information better sorted this way for oters looking in the SEARCH button for more info on Health matters. BTW: Cannabis is excreted in the urine and will effect urine flow, immediate extraction of THC will cause your body to urinate soon after smoking. I'll need to do some more research about the decrease in flow after 5 hours, but I think there may be a connection to dehydration? Also on the eyes...have you been tested for glaucoma? Changes in inner eye pressure causes those hemmoraghes and since cannabis will change (lowre) the ocular pressure over time, and decreased usage lead to return to normal pressure, you may have an early indication of an increas in pressure and glaucoma for which ytou should be trated. I;'d suggest a trip to a registerd Opthamologist, and if you are in one of the Med Mar states, you might have need for a Med Mar prescription. Good luck and let's do this again on another thread... ...have a cookie ![]() Mama Budz | |
