| Not sure if this is the right forum, but... I'm going to try weed soon with some friends. I have allergies so If I'm in a dusty place or whatever and I start wheezing, I sometimes take Albuterol with an inhaler, it helps me breathe. Should I use the inhaler before smoking? (2 puffs on inhaler BTW and it lasts 4 hours.) I also take 12-hour Sudafed occasionally. Will either of those react badly with weed? I don't want to go into a coma while smoking up or anything (nor do I want to start wheezing and coughing if I'm allergic to weed maybe... ) That reminds me, does weed set off allergies for anyone here? If so, what helps? Thanks! |

| Sudafed...pseudophedrine...is a similar medication to phedrine, or what used to be referred to as "uppers", in an over the counter form. IN some people they will make them edgy (read the package..."may cause nervousness" Acquaintances who smoke and take albuterol, which for some also has the nasty sie effect of edginess, tell me that it doesn';t seem to effect their smoking. MJ is a bronchial dilator so expect to cough, MJ is also a natural expectorant...expect to cough up phlegm and spit it out... Inhalation of the smoke of any burning plant matter will irritate the upper respiratory system and may cause increased inflamation of the throat and sinus cavities and increased mucous production. Suggest you think seriously whether you want to smoke... If you chose to, I would suggest being very very very well hydrated and continually sip water .... Without frther information, that's the best information I can provide at this time. Toke responsibly...there realy is more to life than smoking weed ...have a cookie ![]() Mama Budz | |

| hello, i also have allergies and mild asthama sp? when i smoke i often find i get a mild attack, keep your puffer near you, you may want to take a dose before smoking, and another if you find it hard to gbreathe, it does not interact with marijuana, you only run into trouble with "uppers", as for sudafed, it is fine, i sugest that you continue to take it as it will relieve the irritation in your sinuses from smoking, i also find that reactine works well, used with sudafed, none of these drugs interact |
