| is it ok to smoke weed right after surgery..when you still got stiches, bandages, some bleeding? i had surgery today on my hand and smoked some weed when i got home...is this a good thing? does weed affect how fast your scars and stitches heal, or if you bleed more or less? can i keep smoking a little everyday while i still have stitches and bandages? also got some stronger painkiller pills oxycodone/acetamin ..does weed have a bad reaction with these pills? or make them work slower? id appreciate some info, i didnt feel comfortable asking the nurse | |

| It probably doesn't hurt to smoke, but I wouldn't do it. I would think that your body needs time to recover from what it just went through. Trust your doctors/nurses. If you don't trust them, call a pharmisist. They know what drugs interact with others and they don't even have to know your name. |

| Howdy!! Should be harmless. If you have prescription pain killers, and plan on taking them, please do a search in this forum for related issues. Marijuana should not have any negative efects with tissue healing. Good luck, bro. ~~hb | |
