| I suffer from a degenerative disc disease and arthritis. I am currently being treated for pain with morphine. Good weed works, morphine don't. My doctor thinks differently. What am I gonna do? PS: I get morphine really cheap, 7 dollars for 45 15mg hits, whereas good pot is really costly at 400 dollars per ounce. PPS: And the best thing about smoking good weed for pain is that titration is exceptionally easy. | |

| what state do you live in? if your in a state that medicinal marijuana is legal, find another doctor or try to convince your doctor to give you a prescription for some weed. if your in another state where any weed is illegal, then that sucks. and if your in canada medicinal marijuana is completely legal there. if i were you i would stick to the weed because isn't morphine like really addicting and you say it isn't helping much.

| *poke* High lone420ranger, Welcome to Cheap Talk. I am sorry to hear about your pain condition. Marijuana has been shown to be an effective method of managing pain, especially arthritis pain. As ncj said, if you live in a state with medpot laws, you should seek out a doctor to validate your use. If you do not, you have to weigh out your options. You could forgoe pot for the cheaper pharmacutical pain killers that don't work as effectively for you, you could move to a state that is more respectful of people in pain, or you could hop over to hempcultivation.com and learn how to grow your own medicine. Good luck with whatever you choose ![]()

| 1 hit of smoked marijuana can increase morphines analgesic effects up to 500%. My opinion would be that you use marijuana to increase to pain relief of morphine and decrease the amount of morphine you use. I would consult a doctor about this, i'm not educated enough to give good advice on this matter. Peace-

| If the cost is the only issue, maybe you should look into growing. There's so much information the the HempCultivation website, you should check it out.
