Default Laws are getting more progressive and medical mj is accepted

What does everyone think about laws getting closer and closer to legalizing weed? Do you think recreational use for anyone will eventually come to pass in the U.S.? On the flip side, do you think laws will ever get more harsh or because of future technology or domestic surveillance, do you think it will ever be very impractical to smoke weed? If this were to happen, would you move to keep smoking or give up?

I don't think they are really. Less harsh penalties, maybe. But legalizing, let alone decriminalization is still a ways away.

Do you think recreational use for anyone will eventually come to pass in the U.S.? Maybe, but not anytime soonOn the flip side, do you think laws will ever get more harsh or because of future technology or domestic surveillance, do you think it will ever be very impractical to smoke weed?
Maybe I'm just high but i couldn't make sense of this. seemed like 3 questions rolled into one.

If this were to happen, would you move to keep smoking or give up?
I would continue smoking of course. You see, whether marijuana is legal, or illegal, very little if any increase in usage is shown within the overrall population. That has been proven over the ocean, In some of our own states, and statistics prove it. Thats the law for ya

This sentence is just here so I can submit

I dont agree that California is becoming more harsh, at least not in the area that I live in. We have many Clubs over here along with many Head shops. There are hippie towns everywhere where people walk around barefoot smoking joints out in open public where I live. In no way are the laws becoming MORE strict

it wasn't the state that did the raids, it was the feds. MJ is still illegal at the national level, which supercedes any local laws. it's BS that they pulled that crap!

Keep in mind the Feds targeted clubs who were selling to people without the proper documentation (no prescription/ DR's recommendation) and at least one of the shops also had off topic fungus in its possession. If clubs follow the rules, rather than attempt to simply become "legal" dealers, they wouldn't have a whole lot to worry about. However, their irresponsibility puts a dark cloud over the entire medical movement. Greedy people will ruin the medical marijuana movment. When it becomes more about profit than helping your fellow man, things wil go downhill.

Agreed. If people would just do the right thing with medical marijuana and stop selling it to people without the correct records and cards then we could really make some movement in trying to get it legalized everywhere.

Cops come to the clubs every once in a while to check up. I've been there a few times. If everything is legit there is nothing to worry about at all, I've driven off with an O and some hash right after chatting with a cop.

Never seen the feds, hope I dont have to either.
