I have unfortunately been smoking some really bad weed lately .You no,the kind that makes you real tired and kinda sick .I was talking to a friend about why the bad pot high was so much different than smoking better grades.
He told me that the chemical brake down was much different from shwag to the nugs.He said that the t.h.c in bad pot has changed form into this t.c.b because of age and molding. This t.c.b produces a sleepy sick kinda high.
Has anybody heard this ?

THC _DOES_ convert a *bit* to CBN/CBD if you leave it out for a long time.. but i thought that was only during curing and drying after harvesting..

maybe that's what he's talking about..

Yak ,he could be wrong but it does seam that you have herd of something similar cbn/cbd. It could be that that's what he means,I will have to ask him.the moral of the story--don't smoke shwagg.

When a pot plant fully matures, some of the THC is converted to CBN/CBD. So if you want to get a really cerebral/hyper high, harvest early, otherwise it's gonna be a couch lock type high.

thC in the flowers (buds) of the plants does continue to evolve into cannabididiol (CBD) and cannabiniol (CBN) over time as the flower developes and turns brown and eventually dies on the plant. While these compounds are very useful in treatment of inflamatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (YES there exists a treatment for such a horrendous and debilitating disease but it is from the evil pot plant so it isn't well known ) they are going to give you the effect of thC.

Once the buds are harvested, properly dried and cured, they will retain the chemical compounds they had when harvested for a long while.

Either you had some very old weed, or some flowers that were dried that were really too old to harvest.

The higher levels of CBD and CBN will give you that couch lock feeling and no real cerebral "high".

Back in the "day" it was customary to smoke out a buyer when purchasing so the buyer knew the quality they were getting. Today that's not as usual except when buying a large amount (an ounce) but you can still look at the weed: Make sure it isn't full of Brown Hairs...and has a nice fresh piny or citrusy smell or skunky smell (depending on what you are buying) Be careful of "crystally" stuff that is cheap as it may be "sprayed" with hair spray (aka hair lacquer) to appear to be filled with trichomes.

hey there Mamabudz...

im a grower for sime time now and my last harvest was "skunk passion" that i bought from amsterdam....

it was very strong but the high was hard.....i mean it was like getting a brick to ure head...

i now harvested a mix of that skunk and some local plants and its the same while i thought it would get a bit more cheerful that the brick stuff....

my question is: whats going on?
i dont feel its a cbd think but something else.....maybe its just very very strong?

by the way i harvest a cures by the book!
