Greenman makes some very good points about cocaine. Cocaine is easy to identify if you look at the plant matter (which means breaking the joint if you bought it rolled). PCP, however, can be a liquid and thus not as detectable. In my days as a newbie I had the misfortune of buying weed laced with angel dust (PCP). It is possible, though unlikely. Again, PCP is identifiable because of its bitter taste, so touch some to your tongue as a check if you are suspicious. The possibility of laced marijuana will be an issue as long as marijuana is illegal.

Last week, I went over to my friend Ashley's house and I had 20 bucks and 2 guys named Jake and Matthew were there also. They had 20 bucks to so we gave our money to Ashley and she left for about 15 minutes and came back w/ 2 sacks of weed. one for me and one for them. Since Ashley's on probabtion she couldn't smoke with us.. so Matthew rolled up a joint from their bag of weed. Then we all went back into Ashley's room and me and jake and matthew all were smokin that joint. Then about 5 minutes later, I felt funny so I left Ashley's room and went and laid on the couch. But my heart was racing, and the sides of my neck started to feel hot and then different parts of my body did too. So I panicked, because I've had similar reaction like that a couple years ago. So I asked Ashley to call 911, but instead she had Jake and Matthew drive me to the emergency room. On the way there.. I was hallucinating, my hands looked like they were 10x bigger than normal, and for some reason I thought I was Miss Piggy from the mupphets (weird, i know) and those guys dropped me off at the hospital and I went inside, my legs and feet were tingling a lot too. I was really confused, then pretty soon I got smaller than everything, like I was looking up at everyone, and then I started to come down from the high but I was having muscle spasms everywhere, my eyes, my arms, all kinds of parts of my body. Could somebody tell me if this is just a bad trip off of marijuana or if there was something else in it? And if so, what?

Well did your friend's experience the same thing? If not it probably wasn't laced. Like already mentioned, it's very, very rare to get laced bud, and when people do think their bud is laced it's usually because they just had a panic attack, freak out, whatever you want to call it; it seems to be a pretty popular topic on this site, especially with the novice smokers.

No. Just no. First off, no dealer is going to buy marijuana, then buy cocaine and lace it and then sell it to you again at the same price. Economically laced bud makes zero sense and zero profit gains for a dealer, who's whole point in selling is what: to make money.

The only time you'll get laced bud is if you specifically ask for it or go to dealer's who provide just that, because some people actually like their bud dipped in embalming fluid or sprinkled with cocaine.

So chances are the bud you smoke is never laced, and especially not with cocaine. Some people do some nasty things to bud, like try and fluff it up with water or steam, which might make it moldy; or sprinkle flour on it, which you'll taste; or spray it with RAID or something, which again you'll definately smell/taste it; or it could be covered with PCP, but at the end of the day you are going to be able to smell the difference first and definately taste the difference. Like I said though, it's rare, next to none, that your bud is laced.

It sounds like you let your trip get out of hand. You were probably concentrating too much on your heart beating fast and just got overly paranoid. Most people don't tell someone to call 911 because their heart is beating fast, especially when they know weed does that. Just try to chill out more.

Yes you can but like greenman said, if you have nugs, it is easy to detect. Also I can smell cocaine, especially when it is burning, it also burns a bit different.

I have 2 cents to add here as well:
Laced marijuana happens. I have had laced pot twice. The first time was when a good friend of mine who takes off topic powders, decided to recycle a baggy when she gave me some buds. I could see powder residue in the bag, I hate powders so I rinsed the bud thoroughly before I smoked it. It was still contaminated, ugh. I told her, and she doesn't do that to people who don't take powders anymore.
The second time was at a new years eve party some years ago, I was smoking a joint in the garden and some guy I didn't know came up to me and handed me another joint, saying "this is from my friend", it tasted horrible, but I kept smoking it anyway, I was so blazed already, I didn't wonder about the vile taste too much. I was a mess. Lucky my friends were there to look after me, I don't know what the guy who laced it had in mind, but I'm glad it was me and not a younger, more vulnerable girl, who may not have had friends there to keep her safe.
Thats only two joints out about 6000 (at the very least), so it's a very rare occurence, but it can happen. Never accept marijuana (or a drink for that matter) from strangers, and if any of your dealers sell or use off topics, ask them not to recycle used powder baggys for your buds.

Well I wouldn't consider smoking some nugs out of a bag that contained cocaine "laced," especially if you knew your dealer also messes with cocaine. The other one is just common sense, smoking a joint that someone hands you out of the blue.

ive smoked pcp laced weed. and your just trippin balls bro. haha. pcp does not really make u halucinate like that if its laced. you would feel more powerful and youd want to like destroy shit or wahtever. it was probably just bomb weed that really fucked you up. haha.

OK, so everyone here is talking about unexpectedly getting PCP in their weed, but has anyone ever tried it like on purpose?

I mean, if you think you're buying unlaced stuff and the dealer gives you laced shit, well that's really shady. It means he had intentions to either try to like hook you or spruce up good weed or something. But it's a dick thing to do, and since you're not expecting it the experience will completely surprise you. Plus I imagine you would smoke less at a time of PCP laced stuff then regular stuff because it's stronger.

So has anyone actually intentionally done it? lie gone to a dealer who sells the stuff (None really in my area so I haven't met any) and legitly requested some, and then smoked it knowing the deal? And if so, did you enjoy or not enjoy the experience?

I've considered trying it just to see what it's like but IDK, it's pretty shady.
