| Does anyone live in Canada here? Have you ever heard of ppl getting marijuana for glucoma or using it for the same purpose? I have glucoma and am contemplating smoking weed to help the pressure b/c the meds are not helping and I'm desperate to try anything at this point. Also, I'm wondering how you can order weed online- isn't that illegal? |

| First, I want to point out that I am not very familer with medical marijuana in Canada, other than it exists. I don't think you can buy it on the internet. You will probably have to visit your doctor, get a recommendation, and go to a Cannabis Club near you to buy your medicine. That is if the system is anything like that in California, which I have more knowledge about. And yes, marijuana should be able to help a lot with glaucoma. Marijuana takes pressure off the eyes better than just about anything on the market, and it has much better side effects ![]()

| Actually, marihuana has proven not to be very effective in treating glaucoma. It was used as such, more or less as a 'stop gap', years ago before newer and effective drugs became available. I suggest you do a search on this site (and off site as well of course). There is ample information to feast your eyes on...

| I happen to live in Canada and actually know someone currently using medicinal buds for glaucoma oddly enough happens to be the only person I know smoking legally. You cant order weed online you will have to either consult a doctor or go to your local distributing head shop for details. I have a very large history of glaucoma in my family so I'm likely to get it in which case my shit will be government supplied for sure. |
