| What it be off-topic to talk about an herbal substance (not marijuana) that cures or helps insomnia? Ugh I really need a cure or something because I really cant sleep at all. If its against regulation or whatever its cool. Been up a long time. Like 60 hours.

| Kava works but not for the extreme insomniac (but worth a try). I would suggest not going on anything prescription. That stuff will mess you up more then not getting sleep will.

| Melatonin...if you take about 1mg you will fall asleep in about 30 minutes...guaranteed...this is much better than taking tylenol pm because i have tried that before and when you wake up ... your body is really messed up and you don't have the energy to even get up... |

| Damn, 60 hours? Your mind must be really scattered, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if you're getting hallucinations. I've had bouts of insomnia before, nothing too extreme, just being able to get only 2-3 hours of sleep a night for while. I tried several different herbal treatments, including kava, but none worked that I could tell. The only thing that worked was intense exercise. If I exhausted my body an hour or so before I tried to sleep, i'd pass out within minutes of putting head to pillow. That's about all I can say to help, if it's help at all, sorry.
