| First let me say I have had like way waaaay too much sweating in my hands and feet since I can remember. This isn't too rare and it truly does suck for anyone that has this. I know that sometimes my hands were so wet from the sweat that in school I couldn't even hold a pencil, and when I would wear sandals it was like walking on a wet towel the whole time. Well I have been pissed off too long with this, so when I went to the dermatologist for something I asked him about sweating. He told me about all this other crap you can do like roll-on stuff and freeze a nerve for a month or 2 but in the end surgery seemed the best. Right when he mentioned Sympathectomy I wanted it, so I consulted a Thoracic surgeon and decided if it was worth it, risks, and all that. So I was like yeah, why not, I hate the crap I have to go through because of it. So booked a surgery, and today is the day after surgery. My hands and feet are as dry as a bone! It also takes care of facial and underarm sweat but hands and feet are the main cures. It is an easy surgery, just 4 incisions each under an inch around the ribs and snip snip, your done. I know the dudes who have this (over sweating in hands and feet) know that it sucks and is a big annoyance. Ask around about this procedure and you will be soooo happy! You don't even have to stay the night at the hospital. So if you sweat on your hands and feet too much and hate it then look into this, it's worth it ![]() Go here for some info on the procedure |
