| Ok I used to have a prescription for medical cannabis but it expired. I live with my granny to take care of her full time and she has a prescription for vicodin. I have no way of receiving income for helping grandma because they say she makes 200 over the limit to get help and ur state does not offer help , my grandma offers to pay me but I declined. So now that I don't have money and am weedless I am getting my pain back which is in my legs on the lower outside half and my lower back. the only reason I can think of is my right leg is half a inch shorter. i tried to stretch and such and blah blah but I then took some vicodin and of course it went away. I felt bad for taking it and told my grandma about my situation and what I did and she was cool and said I could have one when I need it, well the problem is when I take them she then has problems renewing her prescription because they are being used up quicker. I have health insurance but I could only get free insurance from the county and we only have 1 doctor who takes it and I immediately walked out of their office because it was so filmy and gross. My grandma has offered to buy me weed at times but its so expensive to be able to constantly have a sack that I stopped and now my question is..what do I do?!? I am still taking a vicodin every once in a while but if I stop taking them I get my pain and cant sleep at night and just overall begin to get tired and weak from no sleep and I cant get checked out until I can find a way to do so or money to see a doctor for my problem. I did try and eat some weed one time (cookie) and it really helped so would it last longer if I bought like a half or 8th and made some cookies and ate one cookie a day? I have a vaporize and this works pretty good but I have to keep smoking at least once every 2 hours and the only time it really last for a while is the first smoke of the day. anyway I plan on never taking her vicodin again after today and just want to see if anyone knows some good muscle rub or methods to relieve pain?? I just dont know what to do because when I stop taking them the pain really kicks in and just fucks my body up... but im very lucky because at least I dont have cancer or some severe illness ..just think of how much pain people like that have.. Thank you for reading all this and any help is appreciated. Peace |

| Have you ever considered seeing a chiropractor? A lot of people don't trust them, but if the doctor is a good one, he can work wonders. Others not so much; it's a matter of finding a good chiropractor. I'd definitely say it's worth a shot, the only issue being possible cost. Luckily I'd say it'd still be cheaper than weed or prescriptions, which don't actually cure back pain anyways, just mask it. Good luck. |

| Muggze That's quite a dilemma you've got. I'm sorry to hear you're in such a pickle. Delta is right about a chiropractor. I have come to rely on them after many decades of back issues. Find a good one and hang on to em like gold. Other helpful elements - Arnica - a lineament for bruising, sprains, etc. Run of the mill anti inflammatory like aspirin, motrin, yada yada. Time release Vitamin C. C's attributes, among other things, is that it's an anti-inflammatory. A deep tissue massage practitioner - gold and platinum. Find someone who would be willing to trade some cannabis for you working it off vis a vie something they need, the old barter system. I'll ponder some more and see what I can come up with. All the best...

| Thanks guys I appreciate it, Now I did go to a chiropractor once and is where I found out my right leg was shorter and then he ordered x-rays. I went and had them done to determine my measurements for my legs and the guy just didn't seem like he knew what he was doing so after about 20 minutes he finally gets it done. I received the x-rays and the report said they were normal so I'm a little confused on that. If I go to a chiropractor twice a month and it seems to help, are there any long term effects in cracking my back and neck for long period? Now I notice on my right shoe that the right back side (heel) it rounds off as if I walk on my right foot on a angle. So I went and saw a foot doctor and she said it was because I don't stretch and many peoples shoes round off like mine.. So I don't know if the doctors are bullshit or Its something I'm not thinking of. but thanks again for the help! |

As a side note, though not true all the time, some of the best chiropractors won't require an X-ray at all. They'll be able to feel your back and tell what's wrong. | |
