Well i went over to my friends house yesterday and he was all passed out on the couch. his mom said that he might have mono and he is going to get checked if he's not better in the next couple days.

Now im worried because ive been smoking with him for like a year almost and alot of my friends have too. I fear i may have gotten Mono. I read that it takes it about 30-50 days to incubate before you notice any symptoms or some ish like that.

Is it possible to spread mono through using mutual smoking devices? Im talking about normal hitting, no slobbering etc. So there has never been any saliva exchanged but maybe, just maybe i caught it from smoking with him.

Anyway, im a hypochondriak and its summer and i really fear getting sick, especially with something like mono who's effects can still be noticed months after. =\

Mononucleosis.

The kissing disease, commonly spread through saliva , symptoms are flu-like with excessive energy drain etc. Usually lasts from 2-3 weeks, but some people still notice effects up to a couple months after.

I always try to wait until the bong owner is looking elsewhere...then I take the bottom of my shirt and wipe the mouthpiece off.

i had mono a couple years ago. i was training really hard for a triathlon and came down with it. it stuck with me for 3 months and i couldn't workout or do anything so i lost a lot of weight and muscle mass. i still haven't been able to motivate myself to start back up because it's a drain on you. but it's different for different people. i was with a girl at the time and we did everything but she never got it. go figure...

Hmm... it may be possible to get mono from him. Maybe (if you really wanted to know beforehand) you could get a doctor to look at it or soemthing. Maybe. I don't know. I just wanted to say that first thing, but I didn't want it to be a crap post. But it still is.

Yeah so if you really want to know, do that. Maybe there are medicines that can help it and you could do some preemptive things that would screw it up.
