Default Phlegm, lung problem.

Hey

I'm going to smoke up my friend for the first time. I just thought someone could help with something.

He (about 5 years ago) had a lung problem type thing, where he had a build-up of phelgm and mucus and crap. He hasn't had it since, but wondering if smoking pot could agitate it and bring it back up?

His name is PufferMan on this thing, he's just too busy to start a thread.

edit: The name of the condition was "codiene phos" if it helpd

I've never known anyone with a phlem problem. However, I do know that bronchitis also causes uncontrollable phlem production, and smoking when you have bronchitis ranks up there with toking infront of the police station as things that you should never, ever do.

But if it went away five years ago, it should be fine...

"Codiene" is a strong narcotic cough suppressant agent made from the opium poppy.

I t was probably prescribed to your friend to sooth his cough reflex at night so he could rest and recover from his lung ailment.

Since I have no idea of your friends age, current health and if he suffered a minor acute lung infection of short term duration with no complications or long term effects ....or is in the early stages of cyctic fibrosis...And No One On Here Can Do That...even a physician couldn't make that call over the Web, nor should they...sounds like this is one friend you should not take the chance on smoking out.

Why if we keep saying no one has "died from pot"?

First, the correct quote is no one has died from an over dose of marijuana in the history of the drug's use.

BUT

Many people have had complications to pre-existing lung conditions when irritated by smoke inhalation of any sort.

Would you want to be responsible for even unintentionally injuring your firend?

Pots been around a few millenia...it'll wait until your friend has a clean health record for a number of years.

Please Toke Responsibly...the future of the Legalized Pot may be riding on the correct decisions of young people today!

...and have a cookie

So your're saying no?

It was cleared up 5 years ago, and I'm sorry Mama, I smoked him up before I read this...he said screw it and went anyways. He coughed but who doesn't there first time, and he seems ok.

Give the word mama, or should he check out a doctor?

if you have lung problems I would HIGHLY suggest cooling the smoke before it enters your lungs. Also if you are smoking sh.it weed it will destroy your lungs...stay away from the stems.
