wow i just stumbled on this article which explains that smoking a water pipe is worse than smoking an unfiltered joint if you want to get the same high, the main reason being that the water obsorbs some of the THC faster than it would the carcinogins....i always thought thc wasnt water soluble

THC isn't water Soluble, but that doesn't mean that it can't get "caught" in water.

If you cool a gas below the temperature at which it can exist as a gas, it will condense into a liquid or solid. That's what happens when hot cannabinoid vapors pass through cold water. It has nothing to do with solubility.

So then technically, drinking the bong water does get you higher?
