Default Serious Inquiry!!!

Hi! My name is Lacy and I live in Ontario Canada.
I am doing some research on which strains are best for anxiety prone individuals and which strains are best used for pain. I understand indicas are for body stone etc. but just wondered if anyone knew the most common strain used by compassion clubs.

I have been growing off and on for 16 years now but are not very familiar with all the different strains being used medically and would really love to get some more info.
If anyone here could give me some ideas or direct me some place where I could obtain such info, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am presently growing some 'northern lights, white willow, bc mango, big bud, mango, kaluna and some unknowns. I have some indoor/ outdoor and both indoor/outdoor strains.

What about hybrids?

The strains for anxiety are for myself personally. Some sativas just totally freak me out but I don't like the couch lock high. I am thinking that I might perhaps be best off with a hybrid of some sort.

I love to get into some breeding.

Again. (this is a serious inquiry)

Thanks

Lacy

Cool

First things first....I hope you didn't feel like I was blowing you off when I said to check out the Gardens Cure....The Garden's Cure- Growing Plants - Growing Community

It's our sister site, and they have a plethora of information about the different strains and growing and probably have a specific section, ( not sure...), that could help you with your questions.......

I realize you are serious, so let me give it the old two cents worth....I have found, after a long career of smoking herb, that just about all will relieve the anxiety I feel. I know, that doesn't answer the question, but you said you don't care for couchlock, so that's the best answer I can give you. I like couchlock the best because of it's pain curing ability. If you smoke it enough, it seems to not be so couchlock and more of just a good feeling. As with any medication, regular, consistent doses are needed over a period of time before any noticable effects will be seen.

If you are a grower and have all these different strains of herb growing, and after sixteen years, I would think you would be telling us, though, and not asking questions that seem to be, shall we say, shiny.......

Oh no sir I didn't feel that way at all. Its just that I had to wait 24 hours and was so keen and asking my question.

I am now allowed in there so i will start researching in there.

Yes although I have been growing off and on for 16 years with over 78 plants under my belt, the only problem was it was all from bagseed. I did not even clue in until last summer that I could order seeds so now that is what I have done.

Living in central ontario Canada I also realised, in hindsite that most of these seeds were probably from indoor. Normally I wouldn't be overly concerned but last year i had some nice plants but unfortunately had 3 full weeks of almost continious rain, some plants even got froze (not frost-FROZE)

So embarrassing as it is, I don't have a lot of knowledge in regards to different strains but I am presently soaking it in.

Here are some pics of my last harvest and some of my present one. All of the above pics are unknown strains. Even the ones I am presently growing I only have an idea because I ordered an indoor seed mix and they weren't labelled.

OMG guys. You have the best selection of funny faces and I am oh so childish.

Lacy

OMG plainsman.
Well aren't you just THE man here.

But then again, I just noticed that you are the administrator. Thta is awesome info. I heard a lot about trainwreck and sourdiesel but Jack herer for anxiety and fibromyalgia is a perfect strain for me.

I am going take a serious look at these and I would thank you more once for this but I don't think I can so I will sneak in a few more later.

I am quite sure I have some white widow and some northern lights in my 'flowering section' but I did order some the other day.

I still can't get over this list.
Are these the types of strains that are mostly used in compassion clubs? I would love to grow for a couple of local compassion clubs where I live. that is my goal and dream job.

I'm going to visit one in a few weeks so I will ask there also.

Fabulous info Plainsman. I will remember you for sure.

Oh guys. your face selection is very DANGEROUS to me.
