You need to talk to a lawyer. Not a forum full of random people.

You also need to be prepared to spend quite a bit of cash on said lawyer.

Why do you think that a 1982 law establishing a research program would provide you with a defense against a possession charge? I fail to see the connection.

The prescribing and dispensing of prescription drugs is controlled under federal law. The Wisconsin law cannot be utilized until the feds stop blocking those activities.

If you live in madison there is a city ordinance that somewhat protects medical users, and i think would in your case, but you can pm me or post if you live in madison.

Yes, Wisconsin remains a hell hole for those who's medical needs find perfect solution in a substance other than absurdly expensive and all too often less effective products than pharmaceuticals have to offer.
Contact organizations such as Norml - Marijuana Law Reform - NORML , ASA - ASA*:*Resources for Organizers, MPP - Search Results.
There are so many others but those should get you started.

Just think, if each of us on this site spent just 10 - 20 minutes each WEEK giving time to the one's who have dedicated so much more then all this talk about "How come", "Why not", "This is bullshit", "They're the bad guy" etc. our persecution would be a long past.

We have dreamt for so long for fairness and and peace in which to take care of our own bodies.
The sacrifices have been many so consider where we are relative to not so long ago.

Thanks jjsmoker for your post and if you get involved let us all know how better we can help...
