I have not smoked for twenty years, and then it was for fun not medicinal. So, my question is; which is better for pain, Indica or Sativa? I always preferred Sativa as a smoke, but Indica can be a slammer (coach lock). I don't want to be incapacitated, and opiates are BULLSHIT! Any input?

You can try and get a Sativa/Indica mix, as that would probably be what you are looking for. However, it's not like everyone has a choice as to what they get, so that can be a problem.

I know how you feel when it comes to opiates. I chose marijuana as medicine over opiates most of the time. I just wish I could chose my perfect strain of marijuana too.

Hey i suffer from a back disease that i use mj for, and for pain i usually recommend an 80/20 indica to sativa, thats the strain of blueberry that i like to grow and keeps me nice and feeling good without feeling braindead, but if you dont have that much control about what you get just try and get mostly indica

man oh man i wish i could grow. not only would i get quality control, be acting above the (state) law, and save tons of $$, but i would love to get all into it like people who brew beer or make their own wine.
