And by the way, "phd's" can't prescribe medicine. The title you are looking for is M.D..

Point taken I guess the point I'm trying to make is, society is blind.

I've been researching strains and thus far i'm convinced that no one has a clue as to what will work best for any given disorder or patient.

I'm certainly wanting to see some good research on that issue and that won't happen until the feds ease up on medical weed. Everyone has their own experience to report but following that is still basic trial and error and compromise.

MJ should not be a prescription...ever. It's then controlled by the feds. what we need are some ph.d folks doing the research through clinical trials. Ph.D folks that specialize in research are the best possible resourse to do some research...leave the medical community the hell out of it. These are things that i know through my private practice and previous govt funded non profits. trust me...other than a M.D. to determine a possible benefit vs risk...no medical folks! if anyone wants more info on this let me know but i'll leave it at that for now.

Your a 100% right in EVERYTHING your saying, I would gladly be a part of any research project like that, but right now all I have that proves what I'm saying, is the life I'm living that so called medical experts said would never be.

Yes I also believe that MJ should be considered as an alternative option to treating depression. Like someone else said here already prescription anti-depressants are handed out like candy.
Its crazy how messed up those can make you.
I also suffer from post tramautic stress disorder and find it helps a lot but some weed like the heavy sativas can worsen my symptoms.

I applied for my mm card from TCC but have not heard anything back. Does anyone else have their card and how long did you have to wait. It seems I have been waiting for months with no response. I am not sure how the process is handled.

Thanks

When I first returned home after the 2nd time and before I started seeking help I started drinking very heavily. While I was home on leave I toked up with my brother-in-law and I felt awesome, not just while I was high but for several days after that I just felt things were alright. Now I do realize that toking while in the Army is a very stupid thing to do and that's why I don't do it right now, but I plan on starting back up as soon as I'm out. The meds they have me on now just make me feel dull and spaced out, plus I'm not a big fan of pills anyway as they are harder on your body than many other types of meds.
